You may remember me...the noob that ordered the Riva and didn't realize there was absolutely NO juice in the starter kit. LOL I quickly became a Mutt-follower and ordered a selection of juices from VaporBomb. Well, after many anxious mornings awaiting arrival of my package, they finally came today! Now, I won't lie. I look like a total dork trying to figure out how to fill the carts with the juice. I'm lucky I didn't inject the juice into my fingers with the syringe! LOL I have two basic set ups with the starter kit, so I convinced hubby to try one blend (555) and loaded mine with Cinna-Bomb. We both had to wipe our mouths from the first hit. I either over-filled or there was some residue just inside the injection point that came out with the first hit. But, now...? I'm swimming back and forth between memories of cinnamon suckers from my childhood. :)

If I had any questions, they would be:

1. I loaded the syringe through the plunger end (removing the plunger first, of course) because the needle wasn't long enough to get to the liquid. Is that the wrong method?

2. I filled the tube with approximately 0.5 ml of liquid. Is there a way to find out how much to put in?

3. Will I ever get out of Noobville and be able to handle this like a pro? LOL

In any case...I'm stoked! Even after tracking the package with the juices, I had given up hope of receiving it today and just bought three packs of analogs. Now? I guess they'll go in the freezer to help suffice during the weening off period.

We're getting ready to take a trip to Denver and I'm really looking forward to being able to vape while in our vehicle. We don't smoke in it and a 4.5 hour drive gets a bit long if you go without a smoke break and even longer if you stop along the way. Plus, even though we get smoking rooms (usually required for people taking pets...and Harley goes everywhere we go! LOL), it can get a bit overwhelming with two smokers. Harley's bound to enjoy her stay much more now, too! :)

Yea! You can call me Paula the Vaper now! Woohoo!!!!

Hi, glad you got all your stuff so you could begin the journey.

As for all that filling business, I just drip so don't have to mess with it anymore. I did buy some of those mega ones and the filling tool but have never used them. I feel a post on classifieds coming on.

You put as much juice in as the filler material in the cartridge will hold without pooling at the top.
If it pools at the top, just dab the excess with a paper towel or tissue.

The problem is, if you are just putting drops right on top of the filler material that comes with the cartridge, it isn't going to sink to the bottom without a little help. You can use the straw modification, or you can use a toothpick or paper clip to push the filler aside a little bit so that it can breathe while you are putting in the drops. Some people use a syringe or a needle tipped dropper bottle to get all the way down to the bottom of the cartridge.

And I have found that if you replace the stock filler material with blue foam, you can actually put the drops right in if you tilt the cartridge to the side while doing so, but that is probably a bit more than you want to bite off and chew right now.

Many people remove the filler material, put in their juice, and then slowly push the filler back in.
