Hi everyone.
Well about a week ago I finally decided its time to get off these coffin nails.
I purchased some disposables to try out this e cig hype, jasper & jasper, but with 0 nicotine as they cannot sell in canada.
This seemed to help me with the physical addiction.

I started to look for more options, and decided to go with a joyetech ego-t
So far I am enjoying this new approach on vaping.

But
I'm having a lot of difficulties breathing, shortness of breath, and weezing after 1 or 2 puffs.
I was 1 pad, lights
I'm using 16mg 70pg%30%vg
This is frustrating and scary.
I want to stay off smokes, but this shortness of breath never occurred to me.
Plz help.

First thing you will notice is your body fighting you. You have made a mental decision the body is not ready to accept. I would go easy vaping, only when the nic demand is felt. Take thoughtfully longer breaths to help expand your lungs. Expect lots of coughing and Flem as your lungs purge themselves.
Things start to clear up within a few weeks, longer/shorter for some.
If this continues - Consult a Doctor - not forum members. We are all concerned for the success of a person quitting analogs but few here are qualified Physicians.

I recommend what TomCat said above. I knew a guy that said he couldn't vape PG without his chest getting real tight and hurting, and he could only vape 100% VG. I also knew someone that was allergic to the filler in cartomizers. Unfortunately, it looks like you will have to try other options to find the culprit but I would try the 100% VG first. If still problems, check out different juices also because it could be the flavoring you are using.

Juice Components
Flavoring usually about 15%- could be higher or lower depending on the flavor used.
PG ( Propylene Glycol) enhances flavor, TH and lung hit- water like
VG (Vegetable Glycerin)= vapor and can mute flavor- thick
Nicotine- TH, lung hit and our need for nicotine. The MOST important ingredient in regards to TH and lung hit.
Standards in the industry are 80/ 20 or 70/ 30 PG/ VG.

Sorry, I'm sort of new to this stuff but I seem to be experiencing the same thing. What is PG and VG?

Your shortness of breath sounds pretty bad. I had some issues with shortness of breath when I first started vaping, like a lot of others that posted here. In a few days, it was gone, was weird. It could be a side effect of getting off analogs. It also could be some weird "adjustment period."

It could be the PG content, or could be the flavorings. If I were you I'd try buying pure VG and see what happens.
