I have to do a little ranting right now. Its not my intent to bash any particular juice or vendor, however, I am chronically broke and always out of juice or almost out of juice, and when I try to get enough money together to make a purchase, I find YET again that I cannot vape the juice I get because i find it nasty, and I mean nasty!
Its one purchase after another from one vendor after another. I swore off a particular company because it was way too expensive and the last order I got was terrible but the weird thing is prior to that order it was my favorite juice, I ordered multiple times. I loved it and it was the first juice I ever vaped. SO... this week I was particularly desperate for some juice (a particular flavor too) and all I could think of as a possible juice that I might end up liking was trying that company one more time as it was the only place that ever even once had the flavor I was after and that I liked....in the past anyway. Well another $40 plus wasted.
Ive tried my share of places and each and every time (besides only 1) the juice is never the same the next time you order it, and thats if you even liked it in the first place. Its not just that it doenst taste the same, that could be a taste bud thing, but it actually tastes like a horrid new recipe or just old juice that was sitting on the shelf awaiting a "sale" in thhe case of this current order and the last one from them that was bad, or watered down in the case of one place, or selling different recipies under the same name with no identification in the case of every place. Its funny when the juice in question wasnt on sale it was great.
And the one that I find decent upon many orders I cannot get because I tried so hard to get the certain flavors I loved so much in the past and now Im broke again.
vaping in theory doesnt have to be too expensive but it is in the way that your forced to search and sample endlessly.
This is so frustrating, and so expensive, Im so pathetically broke I just want to friggin scream!

I dont mean to conjure a pity party, I just needed to type. Thanks for reading.

I totally understand where you are comming from. I have ordered many different flavor juices and from many different vendors, and I have to say that the majority of them taste like crap. Some of them are really really really bad. It sometimes seems like a total waste of money. Although im not broke yet, it definately puts a dent in my wallet.
I suppose I am a little picky with the falvors that I like. I only like some of the tobacco flavors. I have tired all the fruity, candy and fluffy flavors out there, but the only one I can enjoy are the tobacco flavored ones. That said, the only vendor I have found that is pretty consistant with the flavor is Nhaler. Every time I order from them, it's always the same. My next order will be from them for sure.

I ordered from a site createvapor.com for my starter kit and a few bottles of juice. The guy emailed me back very quickly and told me he tried 2 of the juices himself and they didn't come out right and tasted horrible and he took the liberty of replacing them for me with 3 bottles and because of my missing a coupon code along with that trouble threw in a couple attys for me too! The guy there has been VERY helpful and their juice was pretty decent but im a total n00b and prolly wouldn't know bad juice anyways lol.

I'm sorry Zelphi and I totally understand your frustration. I finally gave up and started DIY and now there's no turning back! I haven't bought juice from a vendor in over 4 months and don't ever plan on it again. I'm just now starting to save money because I made a lot that I didn't like. But it's all good now and I'm glad I took the leap. :)

You'll get a lot of sympathy from this front, too. Although I've rarely had the opportunity to love a juice and then have them change the recipe. I have tried from some of the most beloved vendors on these boards and to say I was disappointed with the juice I got would be an understatement. Granted, I have not been at this as long as some people have, but after two months and easily a couple hundred dollars spent in juice, I have two flavors out of all the various little bottles laying around that I actually like, two that are okay, and the other bottles are tossed in my "disgusting waste of money" basket.

Yep. I also understand exactly where you are coming from. Have you tried FSUSA juice? I have found them to be very consistent and high quality. They have been my go to juice supplier from my first order. They are also always offering great sales. The 60 ml sale just ended. If you haven't tried them yet it may be worth a shot. Another idea is PIF. You can watch the PIF thread and if a batch of juice that you would like to try comes up you may take it for free. You must then be the next one to make an offer. Doesn't have to be equal to what you got. I have found that a great way to try different things out without having to sell your first born buying all of the different juice available out there.
Good luck.

That's why I stick with DK tobacco flavors, every one I've gotten tastes near identical. The first American juice I got was probably the worst garbage I've ever tasted. I'm giving Vapor Renu a shot because they come pretty highly recommended but if I don't like it I have no interest in trying any other American vendors, no matter what people recommend.

I can definitely relate. I was feeling a little like experimenting so I ordered a sample pack from JC. Big mistake. It was all garbage. I only use two vendors now. My primary is PureSmoker. I can't say they don't have any bad flavors. One of my purchases came with sample of Firecracker. It was terrible. Other than that I have tried their 555, Special Blend, Silver Leaf Tobacco, Karma Scotch, Cash Tab, Riskee Yuice, and they are all great IMO. I also enjoy Flue Cured from Eliquidplanet, who also has the best LR 510 attys I've tried. Both these vendors are state side, and have won my business through customer service as well as product.

Yep I swore off a juice vendor for that very same reason. Had to toss out 2 atomizers because that nasty flavor of my ONCE FAVORITE juice permiated the wick and I could not get it out no matter how many rinses and PG force flushes I did. Oh well though. I only love 2 juices now and I'm stickin to them.

I know this is a stretch but have you tried DIY? Menthol juice if you make it yourself is something that will ALWAYS taste the same no matter what. You know? Well I guess you have to actually like menthol though.

Awe you guys are so sweet. Sometimes its hard to tell if others are experiencing the same monotonous oder and trash cycle. Like simplesins calls it the "disgusting waste of money basket" lol, that it is.
I have not tried DIY yet cause Im afraid of going through the same thing trying to find the right flavoring but Ive been looking into it and it seems that it where Im headed, it seems inevitable at this point.

And zanax, I didnt name any names in my rant but we experienced the same "favorite to **** juice". I dont know who yours is, but wouldnt it be ironic if they were the same? Prolly not but this madness has to stop.

That would be quite ironic but believable because there's an obvious problem with this vendor's juice you know? Sucks....

Zelphie, been there, done that. Got so frustrated I started buying bottles of flavoring and using them to improve or change juices that I buy. Been able to rescue all but one, that one for which there was no solution but to hit it with a shovel and bury it in the backyard :glare:. This flavoring 'trick' is an inexpensive solution but can save you quite a bit.

LOL @ burying it. I've wanted to do the same. I actually have a lock box that I keep those awful juices in. I used a piece of metal to carve into the box "DO NOT VAPE". So, if I ever get robbed, and the burglars steal that box because they think something special is in it just because it's locked and they end up vaping it they'll keel over from the nastiness. Muahaha. But I've TOTALLY wanted to bury some of those juices and I would if I didn't love animals so much. I don't want to subject any type of animal not even a spider or a snake to those god awful flavors. I doubt my Dog would even want them. BARF!!!!

I can relate. One famous previously mentioned company sent me a first sample pack and it was positively delicious. The Swiss Dark was rich, creamy and sweet, just like a warm cup of Swiss Miss coco, a delicious vape. The orange was backflip worthy, and the pena colada even had me the coconut flavor hating me liking it. So I order 3 big bottles. Yuk. The chocolate tastes like unsweetened baking chocolate, not that sweet rich vape that hooked me. The pena coloda and orange ended up with a strong 'dark' flavor that wasn't great either. Ok, maybe the sample pack is better. Nope a new sample pack tasted like order #2, money down the loo.

I considered that it was related to my switch from attys to cartos. Nope. The attys had bigger flavor, but it still wasn't what I had the first time.

My search has gone on to the point that I have mix yer own (Totally Wicked Platinum Ice) and about 20 flavors in stock, and dedicated cartos or attys for each. So far I have a couple that work for me.

#1 desert island vape.. Decadent Vapors Apple Pie DIY flavoring. This is positively delicious, and it goes a long way. I mix just under a drop per ml for a great flavor, at a drop per ml it picks up more of a Carmel flavor. Mixed too strong it tastes horrid. I love my apple pie vape.

Tobacco flavor- Perfumer's Apprentice Absolute Tobacco flavoring in alcohol. Tastes about like most Tob flavors, that sweet raisiny smell of a fresh pack of Marbs. Leaves an authentic analog ashy aftertaste. It is pretty satisfying when others aren't doing it.

Unusual Flavors-
The Perfumer's Apprentice ahem.."MJ" flavor. Authentic or not, it has an interesting blend of flavors, kind of like hops from beer with hints of licorice and pepper. Strange enough to be good, especially mixed a little strong.

Johnson Creek Marcado. This one is a love or hate it spice flavor, good once in a while. Sometimes the JC juice gives me the kick that PI doesn't.

I also want to point out that I have some flavors that disappoint in cartos and stand up in attys. The way that the juice vaporizes plays into it a lot. I went to cartos because I had so many flavors and like dedicated atty/cartos for each one. Some simply do not work as well one way or the other.

Good luck in your quest.

Exactly what Im talking about. Its soooo crazy how the BEST vape can turn into the worst within the very next order! I should start keeping small samples of everything I get so I can later compare the good and bad versions of the same juice so I can refute the taste bud change argument. I agree the argument is valid to a point but so is the inconsistancies in the juices themselves, more than inconsistant......just rank most of the time it seems.

Where in MI are you? Vaporbomb may be coming to the MI meetup on Oct 2nd at the Whit lk inn in White lk. They have pretty good liquid and I am sure they will give away some. Do not quote me on this as it has not been confirmed yet.

I'm with you sister.
I haven't alot to spend. When I get juices that are not doing it for me I trade them (cheaper than buying) for juices in the same vien as my favorite flavor. That way the tastes are all around the same area, though some better than others.
I have also taken to mixing juices together outright to even out flavors. I have an apple flavor I like so I will mix it with tobacco that is so-so to make it vapable and not go to waste.
I too have been eyeing the DIY path as a means to save money. We have some feed stores close by and they charge around $25 for a gallon of PG. I could make that last a long while. Just use it to cut juices to little lower nic level. Then just buy juice out of the ECF classifieds.
Its just sometimes you don't have the funds to do all you plan to and if you need juice you buy what you can afford at the time.

BTW-never feel that you are alone in your thoughts or feelings, especially here at ECF, there are always many others in the same boat as you:)
