one last question.
Once I start wrapping my own coils, in which OHM range should I stay to be safe? Any preferences?
I vape mostly tabacco flavors if that makes a difference...?

You can go very low on ohms if you want. I know some have made coils at lower than .1. I like a 1.2 - 1.6 ohm. It is a hotter vape.

The 1.0 to 2.0 range is good.

Experimenting is great with coils. So easy to make and you can try all different ohms. Your juices will taste a little different with each ohm.

I do mostly sweet flavors with some tobacco added at times. So far I have not found the lower ohm coils to effect the flavor in a bad way.

Thanks for the info, I probably aim for 1.5-2.0 Ohms....Just wanted to be sure that the batteries can handle that.

BTW. I love your Avantar :)

Bro, you have to try a micro coil :). Check out this thread.
Micro Coil for the RBA on your REO

It's the latest rage ! They're all I run. I haven't figured a way to get a more exceptionally satisfying vape and I have experimented alot.

The trick is making a very small, (1/16" dia) tight coil with the wraps touching.

Many users report that the micro is better than the HH 357. I never used a 357, so I don't know. what I do know is that with a correctly built micro, a 2 ohm vapes much better than any 1 ohm regular coil I ever built :)

I'm gonna give it a shot. Can I use the 2.5mm silica wick for it or do I need cotton for it?

For the terminally idle like myself, 4 wraps of 32g kanthal on 3mm silica hits 1.7 Ohms. Easy to do fast if you have to.

I save all the fancy builds for weekends when i have more time. Rebuild kit is a good idea - you'll not need it now - but if you use the Reo like me eventually you will. My long suffering black/black grand has suffered daily abuse for about 6 months now and needs some care!

My wife uses a Mini and it's never given her any problems; i wreck 3 coils to her one!

I've only used cotton in them. You can try silica, but I don't know :)

Yeah, use cotton. I can't stand the taste with silica for some reason. Just started with cotton the other day, big difference for me.

Thanks guys.
I ordered already a bunch of silica, so I will try it but I surely will check out the cotton wich as well.
Any good online store to buy it from ?

CVS pharmacy. Sterile Rolled Cotton. Big box is like $6. :). Lifetime supply.

you gotta love the simplicity of cotton.

months ago I grabbed about 5 cotton balls from the wifes 'pretty stuff' and ive still got a ton left

keep it simple.

Be prepared for many little bags -- we (with the exception of super_x_drifter) seem to collect them.

I have all my little bags too. There all in a big little bag :)

Alright, got it....nothing special for vaping purpose, just the good old cotton balls from the better halfs beauty department :)
Can I stuff them into the coil as is or do I have to cook them first ??? <-- propably a pretty dumb question :)

Not a dumb question at all. If you get regular cotton balls, some people boil them then let them dry because they have a little taste at first. If you get organic cotton balls (Walgreens - Studio 35 Beauty brand) they have no taste whatsoever, and I use those without doing anything.

Quick update, ordered my REO and my batts and stuff Saturday night, this morning had a USPS message informing me that my shipment has been prepared....THATS a quick service, thanks to REO Mods and RTD.
Scheduled delivery this Thursday BUT in the US at my buddies house.
He will throw the stuff into another box and send it via FedEx Exress down to Mexico.
$120 and 3 days later, I should have all my goodies IF FedEx does a good job, if the mexican custom office cooperates and if the carrier here in Mexico do a good job.....

Monday Tuesday next week I should be vaping BIG clouds of vapor :vapor:

I'll keep you all posted.

Thanks again for your help and have a good night.
