Welcome to the forum.

Your story sounds a lot like mine. I've had and iTouch VV for a week, and haven't touched a cigarette since I got it. I think you will find your equipment will fill your needs much better than cigalikes did. I know it has for me.

Best of luck, you made good decisions all the way around.

Welcome infofeeder.

It sounds like you have got set up to succeed! :)

I tried the plastic vanity sticks and they didn't work for me. It's a miracle they work for anybody really, unless they smoke 5 Silk Cut a day.

and the price.... ??? .....

The brand I was using would have cost £2,000 a year to still be smoking almost as many as ever. It's a disgrace.

Well done on getting a good piece of hardware.... you'll get there. :)

Thanks for everyone's comments, its so greatly appreciated, having a community that is going through the same thing massively helps.

ok so i bought super strong, super throat hit e liquid, made a mistake, but i am diluting it into 4 parts, 1 part of this 45mg flavoured e liquid, into 3 parts non nic liquid, the non nic liquid is flavoured so im getting a jumble of flavours, but i dont want to waste what i have bought.

at that dose its ok, a good hit without killing my throat, i still need to work on it, and find the level that works.

thats what probably this is all about, we have the equipment out there to use, but without the right e liquid it just wont work for you.

id say its 30% equipment and 70% e liquid that's important.

based on what i have.

so i feel very positive i can give up the fags, the way the mods work these days are amazing, so much better than they did before, but i just gotta find the right e liquid.

so because im splitting the 45mg into 4 parts im getting around 11mg per tank which is just fine for me.

the thing im thinking about is what to do when i order next time, on flavour art . com they have this extrabite stuff which is what caused this super throat hit, along with the fact its 45mg nicotine, they also do a smooth, and a regular e liquid, and of course you have to set the nicotine level too, so im a bit confused as to what to go for.

I looked at the Flavour Art UK site and it appears as though what you have ordered is an unflavored nicotine base that is normally used mixed with flavoring. The great majority of vapers prefer flavored e-liquid but there are a few who prefer unflavored.

Nicotine is what gives the most of the throat hit in e-liquid. The BiteXtra option appears to be something that Flavour Art has formulated to give some throat hit for zero or very low percentage nicotine e-liquid.

If you are happy with your unflavored e-liquid I would suggest trying either the 10 or 15 mg. smooth version for regular use. You might want to get some 25 mg. to vape only when you have cravings. Also, many people find nicotine causes insomnia so you might want to keep some of the 0 nic full throat hit on hand to use at night either by itself or mix it with the higher nicotine e-liquid to get something around 5 mg.

All that said, I would encourage you to at least try some flavored e-liquids as that seems to be what most people prefer. You might want to ask on the UK forum to see if there are any brick and mortar stores near you where you would be able to sample flavors.

For most people it's much easier to find their right nic level rather than finding flavors that they really love. If you find yourself craving cigarettes up your nic level or vape more often and vice-versa if you find yourself getting nic sick. Be patient. You will probably be able to sort out what works well for you sooner than you might think.

Nicotine from e-cigs takes about 20 minutes, more or less, to become available to your body versus nearly instantaneously with cigarettes. If you find yourself craving a cigarette really badly you might want to try to vape through it and wait for the nic to kick in before lighting up a cigarette.
