I'm having a massive computer issue due to having a 2007 macbook that is limping along but being overwhelmed by the many things I've got running every day. BUT, I just ordered a new macbook that I should get in the next couple of weeks which will fix all that.

While I'm limping along you can always PM me if needed and put the thread link in question in the PM and I can check it out via my phone if I've had to shut down my computer for a cool-down.

SOON it won't freeze up or sit and load a page for 5 minutes, I'll be ZOOMING!!!!

Sorry folks...first world problems I don't want you to feel abandoned, I'm here for the Family!!!

I can't use all the mod features on my phone because Tapatalk (or whatever it's called) is not loaded. The new computer is so much better. Currently I'm running 8 tabs through a 1 gig RAM machine. I have 8gigs RAM coming. So excited!! Thank goodness for the tax return...

A base macbook pro with 7i and the 8 gig RAM added on which ended up being the same price as the Lenova Yoga I was originally looking at. I'm excited!

Ooooooo you made the right decision! The Yoga is cool but runs Windows 8 which is an operating system that makes me cuss. We have a few of those around the office and no one has been real fond of them. You can never go wrong with a MacBook and they'll always outlast a PC in longevity.

Same here...bought an iMac last year but I wish I had gotten a new laptop instead. Gonna have to get a new one sooner than later.

Yeah, we would have pounced on the Yoga except I would want to wait till Window 10 comes out and this lappy won't last much longer. Still, I was going through laptops every two years till I got this macbook and it was outdated when I bought it (on sale...lol) and it lasted 7 years! I am impressed.
