Let me preface this with I've been cooking at an advanced level for quite some time, and I have a good tongue palate and sense of smell.

With that said, I made a roughly 17mg vanilla rum cappucino and it tastes amazing compared to any other liquid I've tried! It's my first attempt at DIY too omg it's soo tasty just as shake and vape! I'll try and report back after a short coffee pot steep....if it lasts that long.

Recipe:
3ml total mix
PG 63.5 VG 36.5
15% (9 drops)Capella's Cappucino
5% (3 drops)FlavorWest Rum
6% (4 drops)Flavorwest Madagascar Vanilla

Shake, and vape!

It produces a light buttery/toastiness with a mild sweet aspect vanilla cappucino. It smells good too and the aftertaste is the best part IMO.

EDIT: Damn my wick is dry now and the bottle is in to steep...

I really need to quit saying anything when I'm tired. My mistake. I was thinking of Bourbon Vanilla. Tried that once and went through 2 coils in nothing flat. I may have to try the Madagascar. I'm still looking for that perfect (or close enough) vanilla taste. Read that some people like the Hangsen too so will try that as well.

Congrats on doing such a good job, especially on your first try. :toast:

Thanks, that first try went well, the peach tobacco on the other hand...I figured it would be a safe single flavor to go ahead and mix up 8ml of base and add some peach tobacco flavor. Well I'm up to 45 drops of flavoring and still taste nothing although it's starting to taste worse lol I'm pretty sure I wayyy overdid it with this one. I tried it at lower amounts at first but didn't really get any flavor then either other then a very faint hint of peachy smell.

What brand of flavor is it? I'm having similar problems with a couple of hangsen tobacco flavors. If I mix them at 3 percent they're good but a little light in flavor for me and if I go high (10 percent) they start tasting bad. I have them at 8 percent at the moment and with steeping they're starting to come round.

Using Flavor West..it may as well be renamed to Flavor Water though. I'm not impressed at how much you have to use. 15-35% on average with 50% for heavy flavor. It's ridiculous.

I've ran across similar statements from other posters. The hangsen flavors have been getting good reviews. I think I'm going to try a couple more of those on my next order.

Not uncommon if you're mixing tobaccos for the first time and are more a fruit/desert type of person. Most of the posters here will tell you let it sit a week and all will be great, the clouds will break and sunshine will flow like water all the rest of the days of your life. They lie. Tobacco is a different game. Mix up some of the standards so you have an idea of what folks are getting all excited about, then decide if you want to play that game.
