We were down your way a week and a half ago, VPN. Went to the Nugent concert at the Hard Rock. Little did we know that there were no chairs, so I wound up at Starbucks so I could sit down. Don't gamble, but like coffee. I wasn't vaping at the time and you can still smoke analogs in there. I started vaping shortly thereafter. My husband and I live in Meridian. There's got to be more of us around. Let me know what you find on the web. Just didn't want you to think you're the only one in MS.

Yeah, that's in my yard. I really am Up in the hills. Mississippi is pretty, green rolling hills. I ride a motorcycle and love riding in places like Mississippi.
If I could, I'd fly out to the one in St Louis next month. Unfortunately, my nephew is getting married the same weekend. I asked the soon to be neice if she'd mind moving the date, but she just laughed at me. Seems like she'd be ok with asking 300 people to come on a different date, don't you think?
There has to be more folks from MS in here! Maybe they will speak up now. Hey, I'm a southern belle and proud of it. The humidity, however, never gets any easier. Praise God for air-conditioning.
Did you personally have a great deal of damage from Katrina? There was a great deal of sustained wind damage here. Hattiesburg was torn up. Camille is the queen no longer. We saw Nugent the weekend before Katrina hit at The Grand. My husband really likes Ted Nugent. Met he and his wife at a book signing in Jackson. They were very cordial, friendly, and gentile. It should be against the law for a guy to have better hair than a woman!

I didn't know about the Dirty South social group. Why is it called the "Dirty" south, there's actually a lot less houses ( hah hah ) cluttering up the coast line now.
Seriously though, we were very lucky and got very little damage. We lived in north Pass Christian at the time and had a lot of old growth tree lines around to block the wind.

Well I dont live in Mississippi but my parents do. I go to Meridian a lot. I lived in Biloxi and Brandon for a while years ago. So if ever there is a meet up maybe I can go also.
