When I first started to vape I was disappointed because I wasn't getting that lightheaded nicotine buzz you usually get from the first cig of the day. I do now feel a sensation when I vape, a nice calm, sedate feeling that tingles the back of my head. You definitely do get a buzz from vaping but it's a totally different feeling from analogs. You'll start to feel this feeling after you're completely weened off analogs. It's just we're so used to that chemical rush from analogs we can't really feel the nicotine buzz. Case in point, a friend of mine at work who hasn't smoked in his life asked to try my ecig and felt dizzy after four puffs. You definitely do get a buzz from vaping once you're off the analogs for a few weeks.

Try this for proof: stop vaping from say 6pm in the evening. In the morning have a vape and see what you feel.

Just like analogs, if you're continously vaping you're not giving time for your body to deplete it's nicotine to experience a buzz.

Also, your set up plays a role in how strong a hit you get. I only ever got a mild hit from basic ecig starter kits. I get stronger hits now using only 6MG 100% VG juice on an istick 30W vaping at 17W with an aspire atlantis tank and a very strong dizzy, lightheaded hit with the kanger subtank, but that's just too strong for me. Everyone is different though and you'll find the set up that does it for you.

I am pretty sure that the buzz you get from the first cigarette of the day is a carbon monoxide buzz.
In other words, sudden lack of oxygen to the brain.

Having said that, I do get a little bit of a "buzz" from using WTA liquids.
Not like that old first cigarette of the day buzz, but a little bit more than just using nicotine alone.

Vaping is not going to give you everything you got from tobacco that's why it's an healthier alternative but it can be a lot more enjoyable you just need to find the flavours and nicotine level so that it becomes enjoyable for you but there is an element of effort involved in switching completely to vaping. Personally I never got this "buzz" from cigarettes nor do I get it from vaping but I am able to stay off tobacco and enjoy the experience more.

I get woozy off it all the time. Need the relaxitive effect. Didn't have to stop smoking either, got almost nic sick a few times. And cigs definitely have an effect, so those saying they don't apparently don't notice it. I definitely remember having to build up a tolerance before I could smoke much, cigs are excessive! I used to get woozy sometimes off secondhand smoke, may main reason for starting (in my 30s already) was to increase tolerance to secondhand smoke, and finally get some first-hand along with it.

E-cigs have an effect that is more likely to creep up on you slowly. They don't get that very fast effect which is what some people may need to notice it. I don't think it has anything to do with added chemicals, although the monoxide may. Burning tobacco also has a more satisfying effect due to chemicals naturally occurring in tobacco. Anytime more than one thing affects you they interact, and none of it would have much effect if wasn't on top of substantial nicotine.

A weird theory I have is too much pure nicotine (vaping) can actually increase the need for whole tobacco's effects. It's hard to say because excessive vaping is often a sign of craving and excessive stress already.

yea the first cig of the day or after a long time nice relaxing headrush light headedness. loved that
    I also like Life.
Lung cancer is a pretty big price to pay for a few minutes of light headedness. The goal is to get off the cigs.
vaping helps. I can live without the buzz.

So enjoyed that too. sat out on a great night on patio with a Captain and Coke tonight, which always went hand int hand. But vaping on a pumpkin pie juice really settled in with the flavor.

I have bumped up to 24, does take the edge off more, and helps. When I bought my variable voltage, also really has helped out too. Money is tight for everyone, but like Spacer said, lung cancer is a bigger price to pay.

Best of luck, loads of people on here more then willing to help out and give advice.
