WoW its amazing how differently wired we all are...I had that buzz a few thousand times over my 40 years of smoking. Whenever I couldn't smoke for a period, and I lit that first one, it knocked me....light headed and fingers tingling. The wise thing was always to sit down for a minute...
I got that same feeling a few times with Aroma 24/36mg unflavoured WTA...very much milder, but the same.

Although I never really felt a buzz when smoking, I have often heard about it and have heard of people getting that buzz from vaping, but never felt that as well. As for vaping, Maybe you can or maybe you cant, but your definitely not going to get it at 1.5 mg nic. Personally I need 24mg mtl to replicate a cig feeling (not the buzz feeling but the throat hit & heat) so maybe try upping your nic slightly to see, as it's still much better then thinking about cigs

Grow up.... vaping isn't about getting a buzz.... something cigarettes never did for me.. well not tbe ones we discuss here. At least.....

As an 40 year smoker I'm more likely to get buzzy from NOT using nicotine than via usage.

Seriously?

It's an addiction, simple as that. No amount of "growing up" will suffice. When I smoke a cigarette now I need to sit down for the head-rush. It's real. No vape product that I have ever tried has provided the same level of satisfaction as smoking in terms of quelling the craving. Nothing. And I'm all growed up.

All the OP was asking was why the difference.
