I started vaping two weeks ago, i researched all the info i could find and was positive this was the magic bullet to cure my smoking disease. I started with a top of the line itastemvp3 variable wv. The cost was one week of smoking, so a no brainer to me. BUZZ oh yeah i get a good buzz, from vaping, the best Buzz though is all the money im not spending on stinkie cigs. This buzz lasts me all day,Lol.

If you're looking for a buzz, then you are inhaling the wrong recreational chemical.

that is true as well.

that being said... when i do get a buzz from vaping.. (which i currently am feeling right now as I type) its just a little surprise. i take it as a warning measure and slow down my vaping :D

i dont know if this impacts it all the much either.. but i drip exclusively and switch flavors every time i have to re-wet the wick.

For a mild effect that dissipates rapidly, nicotine is #1. If you're not feeling it with vaping, you need to slow down a bit or something. I didn't think at first it would replace that first cig of the day, but actually that went pretty quick. I still had issues with tension later in the day and every once in a while still do. WTAs did help but I went through my $$$ bottle of WholeCig pretty fast because it was so delicious. Ideally I'd get more and use it different but tobacco is way cheaper (like a secret weapon, I find it useful only by not overusing it).

I agree 100%. When I first started and some igmos at the vape shop told me I needed 18mg, I tried it... and after the head spins, I started noticing pains in my abdomen... next up, NAUSEA. Fate worse than death as far as I'm concerned. 12mg did the same. So much for those igmos at that vape shop -- which I no longer patronize at all.

Neither smoking nor vaping is for the purpose of getting a buzz -- at least, not tobacco or nicotine. If you want a buzz, there are a lot of substances that do that, but nicotine ain't one of 'em. Getting dizzy and nauseous is NOT the same as getting a buzz. I started smoking because I thought it was "cool" -- I continued smoking because I had no choice, the cigarette bully rode my back for 39 yrs -- until I discovered vaping. Now I don't smoke, thanks to vaping, but I'm just looking to get "normal," not "buzzed."

I don't think you will ever get the same buzz from vaping as from smoking. The vaping buzz comes on much slower, is a bit different, and seems to last longer. At least that is my experience, which is why I think you need to be a bit more careful when vaping. If you do some serious chain vaping with high-test juice before you know it you can end up over-nic'd, which can be mildly unpleasant once it catches up with you.

yea the first cig of the day or after a long time nice relaxing headrush light headedness. loved that
    I also like Life.
Lung cancer is a pretty big price to pay for a few minutes of light headedness. The goal is to get off the cigs.
vaping helps. I can live without the buzz.
That "buzz" only lasts a minute or two anyway.
I miss it, but I'm okay with that.

The only time I got too much nicotine from vaping was about two weeks after I started.
I got a sampler of about 15 different flavors (18mg) and I had to try them all.

I usually vape 12mg and powering through all those flavors gave me a headache and made me a bit nauseous.
That was the first and last time I did that.

I got a strong nicotine buzz the first time I tried sub-ohming (my first day with the Kanger Subtank Mini) and can still occasionally achieve small ones if I take a couple big puffs -- and that's at 12mg. Probably more like 10-11, in all actuality.

So if you are vaping somewhere around a 2 ohm range and not finding it satisfying, that's definitely an option. Just study up on ohm's law and battery safety and the like before doing so.

Generally I don't get a buzz with vaping, because I am taking a toke or two and putting it down for a while. With a cigarette I'd be waiting an hour or two and then smoking for 10-15 puffs straight. If I'm forced to vape like that, such as when I'm in a no-vaping office, then I'll often get a buzz. In fact that is the signal I use to decide that I've topped up enough and it's time to get back to work.

And that's why my vape is 18mg at 13W in an RBA, rather than an eGo kit at 6W. Even with an efficient atomiser I'd really have to work hard to get a buzz off one of them. But taking it up to 18W with a dual-coil RBA was not attractive either; the buzz came too fast before I was done enjoying the process. I had to drop the nic concentration, which makes vaping more expensive because you use more liquid.

The only real "buzz" off of cigarettes that I ever got was over the course of my first pack or two back in 1986. I even quit cold turkey for 6 months back in 2006 and when I lit up that first one again I still didn't get the lightheaded tingly feeling from head to toe that I got when I was brand new.

But that doesn't mean I can't feel the nic. Here's what I get within about 3 minutes (as opposed to 30 seconds with cigs) of vaping in the morning: My cloudy head starts to clear. In other words my brain wakes up. I suffer from moderate depression and anxiety and those feelings start to fade and subside, meaning I get both a calming effect and become more alert at the same time (wonderful feeling...much better than the "woozy buzz" the OP is looking for).

I feel more mentally alert. I can begin taking on more complex mental activities and begin to multitask without feeling overwhelmed. And my overall mood just improves. I'm ready to tackle whatever the day may bring. Nicotine is a wonder drug for me, but the buzz the OP mentions, for me, is both unattainable and undesired. In addition, with vaping, I can fine tune my nicotine in ways that aren't possible, or at least much harder, with cigarettes.

Caffeine? Just makes me hyped up, makes my heart race and I get jittery and easily frightened by loud noises. Can you guess which drug I like better?
