Ok so I decided to quit smoking and decided an e cig was my best option.

I ordered a CigEasy cuz they were on sale and I'm a broke college student and so far I'm totally loving it.

Everything seems pretty straightforward, but I'm just confused about a couple of things:

Do I have to order empty cartomizers to fill them with another flavor or can I just clean my old ones?
Is this a bad idea? (like, do they taste nasty if you change flavors)

I've found all the instructions on cleaning and refilling and stuff but I can't find a specific answer to my question. If I'm just missing it, feel free to point me in the right direction!

Thanks :)

It all depends on what flavors were originally in the cartos if you had a tabaco flavor and are putting in a similar flavor you should be ok after cleaning. Darker juices tend to keep the flavor in the atty even after cleaning so buying new empty cartos for fruity flavors would be good. Also cinnimon and menthol like to stay in attys as well.

You say cartomizers. The way I understand it, if your cigarette is a 3 piece type, then you have a cartridge that inserts into your atomizer which screws onto your battery. These cartridges can by cleaned simply by pulling them out, using a toothpick remove the filler, clean and rinse it all, when dry, reinsert the filler and refill with liquid till completely wet. Changing flavors can be done easily & completely.

If your vaporizer is a 2 piece unit, then you have cartomizers. I have never used them, but these are designed to be basically disposable. They are not very high priced, and you throw them away after they burn out. Until then, you can refill them probably a number of times before they go bad. Most people seem to like them as they hold a decent amount of wickable liquid, and are probably the best way to go if you don't like playing with the thing. I'm not sure about cleaning the completely, though, as you mentioned changing flavors.

You can easily have a different cartomizer for each flavor though. Being cheap, about 8 to 15 bucks for 5 of the things, it should be easy to do this.

Best wishes on quitting and welcome.

I saved all of my prefilled cartos (mostly coffees and chocolates) and I have refilled them several times each with coffee and chocolate flavors. Anything compatible; French toast + coffee, chocolate + snickerz, etc.
Never cleaned them. Never had a problem. When they start tasting burnt, I toss 'em. I buy "empties" to try new flavors with. But pretty much everything I vape goes with chocolate

Is your model the Easy from Cigeasy.com? Or something else called Cigeasy?

The Easy is a KR808D-1. SOme people are successful with cleaning cartos and some people are not. And if you singe the stuffing then cleaning will not get the burnt taste out completely.

My opinion is don't count on cleaning them until you have successfully cleaned, dried and reused some. What I usually do is not clean them. If I have prefilled ones I choose a compatible juice to top it off with as I use it. I never vape them dry because I don't want to singe them. When the performance degrades over 4-14 days, at some point I give up on that carto and save it in case I ever try to clean it and I start a new carto.

For flavors that I want to have their own brand new cartos I use blank KR808D-1 cartos (I use Vapor4Life blanks)
