I'm new,confused and worried

Hey all, just wanted to ask some questions that probably have been answered before so please be patient with me

Just today i bought the Blu Pro Kit with the Tobacco Flavor e-liquid, it's bold and 18ml nicotine (they only have 18ml in my local shop)
I also have a Playboy Tutti Fruitti flavor also 18ml nicotine which has been sitting in my cupboard for nearly a year.
I followed the instructions on the little leaflet, i filled the tank about half way with the Playboy liquid and took some quick puffs without turning it on and blew into it gently.
Once i turned it on and started to inhale, all i got was a kind of burned,sweet flavor and a bit of a raspy type throat feeling. I took some more puffs and the same taste and feeling came as well as coughing. The first thought that came to my head was that the wick is burned and that's why im getting this taste so i YouTube'd how to clean the tank and did so. I refilled the tank after letting it dry, again with the Frutti flavor and still came up with the same result as in the first time....so....i cleaned the tank again and this time filled it with the tobacco flavor and i got the same taste as before, a bit sweet and a bit burnt...I think it might be the wick? Or maybe that i have never smoked before and just went straight to 18ml of nicotine? Anyhow, please help me and any support will be much appreciated!

I would think 18mg nic would b a little much for a non smoker .....if flavor is what you seek you might think about getting a better tank ..........

When i try to take longer drags it feels like my throat is getting burned and causes me to have a puke like reaction...don't know how to explain it better also, how would getting a better tank help me? Sorry, don't mean to be rude or anything just trying to get this sorted out quickly hehe i might just go to the shops now and get a new flavor that's not similar to both of the ones that I already have

Rather than try to debug the BLu kit - hopefully someone will help... I'll mention this: seems to me that VERY few people stick with the kind of gear you got - sorry. It gets them STARTED - provides a hint that "hey, MAYBE vaping will work for me" - but they end up moving to better equipment.

Here's a page with what I think may be a "common level" starter package with which a LOT of folks DO quit smoking. Many then still move to other kinds of devices - you'll be AMAZED at the variety and complexity if you want to keep looking. For me and some other folks, looking at, trying and fiddling with new vape gear has become a hobby actually.

Good luck - you CAN get a setup that tastes good and works well - but that's not the same for everyone, and often does take a lot of looking around, reading, and maybe experimenting with different options.

Thanks and I have looked into many pages,videos,blogs and forums with many customized kits and that's one of the many reasons I wanted to start. I only got the Blu kit because it was at a local store and offered good reviews I will defiantly change to a much better kit but just now I want to get this problem sorted.

Can help re the device, Never heard of it. No Idea the power levels you are running. BUT, I would say you need to start with another juice supplier. IDK if you are confussing 18ml bottle size with 18mg nic level or not. But assuming you are using 18nic in a store juice it is probably high PG also. You might want to look at juice with both less nic and more VG. If possible you might try a higher ohm coil for your atomizer as well.

OK, I google the blue pro. Looks like a basic EGO battery and a Disposable EVOD type atomizer. I would recommend either a Kanger or Aspire Clearomizer, to start. As well as finding different Juice.

You might try a better vendor made ejuice, sit down at a good shop that has 100's to sample from.
You might be a little intolerant of the higher PG levels 50 - 65 %, not sure what playboy uses but a quality ejuice vendor will have it on the bottle labeled or on the web site.I would suggest you start @ 3mg nicotine.

You make a reference to vaping nicotine when you are not a smoker.

Do you intentionally want to vape nicotine, or are you just vaping for flavor? There are many, many sources of good, zero or very low nic juices.

I bought a 10ml 10mg nic Blueberry ejuice form a different company and it already tastes much better than the previous two . I still get a bit of a burn but thats still due to the nicotine level. I will buy a 3mg one like you told me and keep the blueberry one for later and throw out the playboy one and the tobacco one.

Not intentionally but since most of the e juices contain some nicotine, unless the 0% ones then I don't really mind the nicotine. And yes, I'm vaping for the flavor mostly because I did shisha with my friends a lot and i enjoy the taste hence why i wanted to try out vaping

Then you should go get some zero nic. It's very easy to find. Your local B&M will have it, and if you want to go mail order, there are tons of choices.
Check out Vape Wild. Inexpensive, and always available in zero nic.

MrBlue I agree with 93gc40. For a reasonable price you there are so many well built options now a days for beginners. Gone are the day so of the EgoTwist being the only option. I would go with the Aspire Battery/ Aspire Atlantis combo. If you want to put out some decent vapor along with your flavor check out the Aspire CF Sub-ohm battery with the Atlantis Clearomizer combo. Great starting kit that will allow you to grow into building your own coils in the future and having a device that you can still put dippers and rebuild-able tanks on.
