Hey, so I've been vaping since I was 18. I smoked cigarettes for a year until I was introduced to vaping by a good buddy of mine I went through Army BCT with. After being introduced I researched and found how vaping is a lot more healthy than cigarettes. I have a Dead Rabbit RTA, with a limited edition GEEK VAPE AEGIS. So glad I found a forum for e-cigs.

That's good, I've been looking for some good informative websites. I plan on producing my own E-Juice soon with a brand. I have everything setup and items on order, I'm just trying to work on figuring out sterilization for the bottles and equipment.

Ah nvm I searched what it was. No I've seen people produce and steep juice without one. Have some beakers, graduated cylinder, scale, etc.

The autoclave will have been mentioned as if you are intending to sell your product it will have to meet regulations and if it doesn't meet the standards in the country of origin or where the product is to be sold you could be held legally liable.

Should some be tested by Trading Standards and found to be impure, containing banned additives or whatever you could be fined heavily.

It could be worthwhile taking professional/legal advice before starting up.

You mentioned you wanted to sterelize your bottles and equipment. If you're producing for yourself and maybe a few friends, boiling will suffice. If trying to produce commercial juice, an autoclave is a bare minimum. Also, you may want to look into measuring by weight instead of volume. Going by mass is more accurate in small batches, easier to scale, and unaffected by changes in atmospheric pressure.

An autoclave is basically a pressure cooker. The idea is it uses higher than ambient pressure to heat water higher than standard boiling temperature which kills more or less everything. It’s pretty standard sterilization gear.

And dont forget about registering each and every flavor and nic strength with the FDA. From what ive heard, this is very expensive to do.

It sounds like you want to make commercial juice but that you haven’t mixed before, correct?

Well, the others gave you some good advice, and I’ll add this: it takes practice to make stuff you will want to vape, and more practice to make what others will like. Also, there’s a lot of competition. Also legal and business knowledge will be needed, and the laws are getting so restricted that you’ll want to look into how costly that end if this enterprise is going to be.

It’s not like it was a few years ago, when you could just buy ingredients and sell juice at a good profit. That train has left the station.

Unless you are just mixing for friends and family the competition is pretty fierce. New vapers like in your face flavors and sweeteners. More experienced vaper's lean more towards cleaner juices. Just mix up a few samples a give them to vaper's you know for feedback and go from there. Personally there is no way I would even attempt a commercial juice business right now.
