I know this is possible because I see on the sites where I can order diy supplies. And it all sounds easy enough. I have had my e cigarette about a month, same with mo mom and I have 3 other friends that have switched over, we all are happy. But there is only one place to get the liquid around here, and they only sell it in 3 ml bottles for $4.50 I know I could definantly make it cheaper for me and my friends and am tired of spending so much money on it. Is there anyone who knows about mixing, and could give me some pointers? What is a good cheap website? I saw that some flavors are just crappy is there a certain kind that works best? I am glad I found a forum just for e cigarettes!

I would suggest One Stop DIY Shop for all your supplies and be sure to read the DIY forum on here before ordering. There is a lot of good information and safety tips, nicotine in concentrated form is a dangerous poison and must be handled with care especially if you have small children or pets around. You may also call Kim at One Stop and she will help you, she is very knowledgeable and is a great help.

We have a DIY forum here:

DIY e-liquid

I've gotten supplies all over the place:) I get my 60mg juice and VG from : http://www.myfreedomsmokes.com/products/UnFlavored-Smoke-Juice.html ( It was $39 for 125 ml of 60mg juice -to give you an idea:)

and my flavorings from: USA Made Vapor Renu and Perfumers Apprentice - Flavors - Non PG

I would suggest PA or the OnestopDIYShop for flavorings though because they have small sample sizes for $1.40. I blew $100 at VaporRenu and I do love a few flavors but have so many more that I can't vape or don't like.

Hi hbockes and welcome to ECF.

I'm attempting to start DIY too, all I need is the flavorings. I already have my nic juice, PG and VG, and the mixing equipment. Has anyone tried the Vapor Renu flavors? They're cheaper than most of the other places I've looked but I haven't heard anything about them before. Mostly I'm interested in the vanilla flavors. Any input would be appreciated.

CsKent,

I love a lot of the VR flavors: Creamy Coconut, Banana Nut Bread, Cotton Candy, Big Red Gum, Creme De Menthe, Marshmallow

I sure do wish we had a Vapor Renu trading forum though because I have 10+ that I didn't care for that I would love to trade someone for another.

If you like sweety flavors try Perfumer's Apprentice's "Toasted Marshmallow" and their "BubbleGum". They are fabulous too and come in small sample sizes for $1.40.

I have tried the Vaporrenu flavors and I really love them. Their prices are insanely low....the flavors come in 30ml bottles for $5.95 (or thereabout.) I absolutely love the ones I bought, and intend to get more. They are really, really good. I've been doing DIY mixing for about a month and the Vaporrenu flavors are my favorite. I got my nic juice from Gourmet Vapor....great prices....especially now with the 40% discount (code: gv40) It's the way to go.

EDIT: My favorite Vaporrenu flavors are Swedish Fish and Creamberry. Also...Coffee and Cinnamon Red Hot.

Silkakc, you could PM me and let me know what you got that you don't like. I might buy some from you. I don't like any tobacco flavors, though....so....

Experimenting with flavors can be fairly simple, depending on the area you live. Look for a
wholesale / retail candy and baking supply store. I have one reasonably close where I have
picked up a few bottles (OK a lot of bottles) of LorAnn Oils flavoring (3.7ml and they
have dropper tops for the bottles)

I use them to add a few drops to a 3 ml sample bottle of a juice.
Then drip the new flavor to see my results.

I've tried to keep to simple flavors with just one or two flavors till I get better at "cooking up a batch".

I'm slowly getting more interested into making my own juices. I'm just weary of the bad juice trips that I'm sure to encounter as I play mad scientist with all the flavors running through my head.

LOL, I hear ya there!!! I figure if it is bad, maybe a little of this and/or a little of that might make it usable. :) Start off making 3 mL bottles so if it is too nasty you are not out much in supplies. But also write down if you add a little of this or a lot of that, so if you do stumble across something good you can remember how you did it. ;)
