Hi guys and girls my name is austin im a beginner to vapeing i need help on choosing my first vaporizer pen it so many to choose froum can't really decide on what to buy but i kinda narrow it down to 3 vapor pen that i want to buy. The first is ego ce5 or just the ce5 vaporizer pen it the cheapest one that i found the other two are Sigma Ago 3 in 1 Recargeable and the Sigma Elips 3 in 1 Rechargeable Vaporizer Kit pretty much i need to know what the difference between the two to me they look the same but the sigma ago come 3 different tanks the elips look like it just one tank i might be wrong that why i need some help on choosing between the 3 or sigma ago or sigma elips.

I'll share what I've experienced (so far). I quit cigarettes and started vaping just a little over 3 months ago. I first tried a cig-a-like and didn't care for it. Then I went to a vapor store here in town and talked to the folks there. I explained as best as I could what I wanted, with my ultimate goal to be tobacco free. One of the guys told me about the Kangertech EMOW kit. It's a pen type like the ones you've asked about. The kit comes with one battery, a charger, tank, and a 5-pack of coils. When fully charged, the battery lasts about 8 hours. It's a manual battery, and the only thing I might complain about is that the button is flush with the battery. I wish it was raised slightly to make it easier to find at night, especially when driving. There are lots of e-liquids on the market to choose from, as I'm sure you've started to discover. The vg/pg ratio can vary, typically either 50/50 or 70/30. I've found that a 70/30 ratio works best for me. With that ratio, a coil will last for about 5 days. With a 50/50 ratio, I'm lucky to get 3 days out of a coil. Keep in mind, this applies specifically to the Kangertech. Results could be different for a different brand. Also, the resistance of the coil makes a difference. I've found that a 1.8 ohm coil gives me much better results than a 1.5 ohm coil. Since I don't have any experience with the ones you've mentioned, I don't know if you have a choice in coils or not. If you do, I would recommend the 1.8 coils. Overall, I don't think there's a real huge difference in the different brands of eGo type batteries. I would definitely stay from cheap knock-offs, especially like the ones you'll see on eBay. Also, it's a good idea to buy two batteries. That way, you can always keep one charged up while you're using the other. I'm sorry I couldn't answer your question directly, but I hope I've been able to give you some helpful information.

I'd go with the iStick 50w just for the battery life. It has two 18650s operating in protected mode and that gives you 4400mah to last all day and into the next with heavy use. It charges from USB, so you can charge at home and even in the car with a cigarette lighter adapter (if your vehicle doesn't have USB ports). It's about $60, but well worth it. IF money is a problem, the 15w iStick is an option that will serve you well.

For a tank, the CE5 is OK, but you might like one of the Kanger Protanks or the Aspire Nautilus even better. Once you decide that you are happy with vaping, a Kayfun or similar rebuildable tank is worth considering. You'd have to wind your own coils, but you'd save a lot of cash not having to buy pre-made coil heads.

You need backup, so buying an eGo battery with adjustable voltage or a Vision Spinner and a small tank won't be a waste. You can always go back to it if something happens to your main vape.

Learn to walk first....
don't spend too much on your first. Get to know flavors, nic level and yourself before you get too far into it.
Personally I would suggest a cheap Ego Twist and a cheap clearomizer. All together putting you out less than $25.00. When you get to know what you like then move up. I have seen people go into vape shops and dump good money after bad because someone they don't know suggested something to them. There are some that use the Ego's and love them and don't need to move up or pay more, then there are others that want more and more. Most people here do not know you and use THEIR experience on YOU.
Learn as you go, it is a hoby and an experience. Don't let people take that from you. (then again, this is MY experience so take it for what its worth)

Ummm are you looking for a vaporizor for eliquid or other things.

The elips is mainly considered a dry vaporizer. And you won't find much of that here.

If your looking at ejuice
I wouldn't waste the money on something with supplies in a kit you won't use. Get a twist or spinner and whatever these guys recommend for a tank

OP: FYI, this forum is strictly for e-cigarettes meant to help people quit smoking. Any other talk of a "vaporizer" is off limits.

I agree with the idea of an eGo Spinner setup. A Good Starter Setup for a New Vaper. The majority of vapers on this forum probably started out vaping with one of these.

For the pricepoint, an iLeaf iStick regulated mod (battery device) with an Aspire Mini Nautilus (tank) is also a solid choice and a step up from an eGo battery. Most people advance from an eGo setup to a mod at some point in time.

Advancing Up the Vaping Ladder

I'd avoid any subttanks or anything "rebuildable" (requiring you to make your own coils and wick) for the time being, these are more for advanced or enthusiast vapers. I do recommend a clearomizer tank which will accept factory-made replacement coil heads, and also one which has adjustable airflow.

E-liquids are available in different concentrations of nicotine. Most vape shops recommend the following, although your particular needs may vary:

Smoked 2 packs per day = 24mg nicotine
1 1/2 ppd = 18 mg
1 ppd = 12 mg
1/2 ppd = 6 mg

Hi...just my 2 cents on this, I started with the ego-c 1100 passthrough kinda like the twist and it worked well for me it got me off the smokes anyway, the clearos burnt out to fast for me though (could have been me puffing on it like a locomotive) so I got a tank that takes cartos and they lasted a lot longer than the clearomizers did., just had to get an adapter for the ego for the tank to set on and that was mainly for looks of the product. I ended up buying a couple egos back then and now have a Zmax Mini for the tank and cartos.

Don't go too cheap starting out. Get something with variable voltage in a name brand: Joyetech, Kanger, iTaste. Get two, so you don't sit dying for a cigarette while the battery is charging. Get a bottom coil tank instead of the CE4. Get something with replaceable coils. Glass instead of plastic. Get two.

That said, your gear is only half the story. If there is a vape shop in your area where you can taste different juices. Try different categories: Fruit, mint beverage, spice, candy, tobacco. Play nice and buy something. Some people like to switch flavors constantly. Some find something they like and just do that. Nicotine matters. Too little sets you up for failure. You can always cut too strong liquid with a little glycerin from the drug store.

You don't need to spend a ton of money, but don't agonize over price. If you smoke a pack a day and switch completely to vaping, it's almost impossible to not save money.

I love my vision spinner2 with a protank mini2. The spinner is variable voltage. The protank is glass and comes completely apart for super easy cleaning. With glass, you don't need to worry about cracking from juices. There is also no issue of flooding. You can easily get this setup and some juice for $50 or under to get ya started.
