I just received e-mail confirmation that my shipment I placed on Saturday has been delivered and should be on my doorstep when I get home (pretty good given the fact that CigNot shipped it on Monday).

I got the eGo from CigNot (I believe this is the 510 version?) and I am going to be anxious to crack this thing open and start puffing away, sooo in lieu of having to do homework, can someone point me in the direction of loading this particular model with juice, and any other helpful hints that maybe useful before I go to town trying to vape on this thing? I have watched several videos on loading devices (and each one seems different), but I don't believe I have seen one for this particular model.

WooHOO. Enjoy
Thanks :D

make sure to blow out the atomizer before trying to vape it or it will taste horrible. just blow in to the end where the cartridge connects. Make sure to do this quite a few times to get it all out. then prim the atty by putting a couple drops of liquid on it and enjoy ;)
Thanks, I will make sure to that... I have seen a few threads about it tasting like .... when it arrived, so I will make sure to avoid that noob experience!

Absolutely MUST be done!

You'll love your Ego and you made an EXCELLENT first choice!! (Wish I'D done that before spending a bunch of hard earned cash, but, I digress..)

If you're looking for a liquid recommedation, I'd suggest Tasty Vapor. When you see a flavor you think you'd like, you most likely will..he's the only vendor I know of whose advertised flavors are SPOT on.

One of the reigning 'Forum favorites' is his Atomic Cinnacide and it IS good!! But, take a look around and pick something YOU'RE interested in! Good luck!! :)

Thanks! I am keeping Tasty Vapor earmarked for my next paycheck ;) I did order three flavors from CN and ~10 from V4L to give myself a variety and see if I like anything... I fully intend to broaden my horizons though, starting with Tasty Vapors.

I blew out the atomizer several time and wiped the liquid off that came out. No nasty .... taste I've been hearing so much about.

I started off by putting 4 drips into the cart, which apparently may have been a bit too much as I got juice on the outside when putting it together. I wiped it down with some TP, and took a puff... Wow! Compared to my little GreenCig thing I purchased in the store? No comparison whatsoever. It gave me a little bit of a headache (perhaps 24mg nic was a bit overzealous), but felt like a real cig... even from a lung perspective, perhaps even more so then my analogs!

The flavor was CigNot's caramel, and while it didn't make me jump out of my seat, it was alright. It was a very light flavor, and produced a decent amount of vapor (something I never got from my old unit).

The box, and overall look and feel was excellent! I usually hid my analogs in my hand as I didn't want people the social leprosy stigma that comes from being caught smoking, so switching to this was a no-brainer, minus having to remember to press the button.

Overall, the immediate shipping, 3 days in the USPS, and the great results so far leaves me sooo happy :D To hell with the analogs!

Welcome to the club! Now it's time for the hunt for your favorite liquid or 5. If you want something with lots of flavor give Tasty Vapor a shot. I've gotten 5 from them and love all of them. The added benefit is that if for some odd reason you don't like the flavor they sell fast on the classified section of the forum. MyFreedomSmokes also has great liquid and has sampler packs so you can try small sizes to see what you like.

I keep a couple of napkins on my desk and in my purse for when I refill, since I like to wipe the stuff that condenses off of the outside of the inside of the cart (if that makes sense) and I almost always manage to get juice somewhere other than in the PV.

MUAHAHAHAH! our plan is working very well!
for some reason this thread reminds me of "Pinky and the Brain"
"what are we going to do tomorrow night Brain?"
"the same thing we do every night Pinky, try and take over the world!"

LOL next thing you know your last post will be quoted by the FDA as proof of our evil intentions.

When you first get it, you may be like "where the hell's the plumes of vapor I see on videos..." and may be disappointed with it. But remember to just give it time! In a little while it'll be broken in and ready to go =]

Quite true...

As odd as it may sound there is a learning curve to each model E-Cig.

Also as per the flavors there is one thing to keep in mind.

If you JUST quit smoking then your taste buds are going to slowly come back to normal. In my case what tasted bland to me on day one didn't taste all that bland a few weeks later.

Thanks all for the evil welcome :D The assimilation seemed so natural!

I have a few concerns about the liquids, and keep them far out of reach of my 6 year old. Are the 26mg bottles a concern if they come into contact with an adults skin? I was a little shocked at the initial buzz (and a little bit of nicotine sickness) as I switched directly from smoking to this, but I haven't had that since. Is the nicotine too strong for me, or could it have been that I got a very small amount of the juice on myself? Either way, it doesn't seem to have happened since, but that sick feeling lasted for probably about 3 hours.

I did notice that the plumes were lacking, ESPECIALLY in the PG liquid. The VG liquid is almost identical to an analog experience. The flavors I got were ok. I tried the menthol, and it was sorely lacking on vapor production, and kind of like sticking vapor rub in your mouth... The vapor production on the VG caramel was MUCH better, but the taste was just so-so. I still have 8-10 bottles on their way from V4L, assuming the Feds haven't intercepted the package and are on their way with the dogs and latex gloves at the ready 8-o

Well, I have tried CN, next I will try V4L (if it arrives), and then I will move onto this Tasty Vapors everyone keeps talking about.

This hobby almost makes the whole potheads, and their million ways to make bongs, make sense.... lol

I think you will surprized by how much your taste will change from week to week even months after you started.

As for the juice just wash it off real good, same thing if you get some in your mouth (and you probably will eventually). 24mg is high nic but not really when you compare it with a regular cig. However, you can always dilute it with some vg or pg if it does seem to bug you. Chances are though that you will just not vape as often. If I'm feeling like vaping a ton I will cut back to a lower nic juice. I do the same thing an hour or two before I go to bed. To much nic will make it tough to sleep.

This was actually why I was surprised... I figured that the nicotine would be much lower than the standard analog, but perhaps it has something to do with the fact that I have been smoking these: Eclipse (cigarette) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia for the last 5 years? <<before anyone gets excited about those, they still make your lungs feel like hell, and they may smell "better" than a standard cig, but they still smell like monkey ....
