Just got my first mech a few weeks ago. Picked up an hcigar stingray from vape royalty. Just got my sony vtc4s this weekend and have been dripping like a madman. I absolutely love this thing. Anyways I use the hcigar stingray, tobeco patriot, sony vtc4s, and an efest 2 bay luc charger. Haven't bought a volt meter yet so I'm not sure how much voltage drop I'm getting. Plan on ordering one soon to figure that out though.

Oh and check out rtd vapor for your batteries and charger. I was originally looking at going with the xtar vp1 but went with the efest because that's all my local b&m carried.....love it btw no complaints. Anyways rtd seems to be a very reputable vendor with excellent prices.

When I first started looking at mechanicals the youtube reviews were a great resource.

And yeah.... this won't be your last mod. Once you're bitten... look out.

I've noticed a lot of clones that are a 2+ piece tube tend to shock people where the tubes meet. Cleaning has seem to always temporarily fix it for me, but all of my next mechs will be one piece tubes.

I think I'll only be going with copper as well.

For RDAs, you can't go wrong with a Tobh Atty V2 clone from my experience. I dont know what I'd want to be improved on it. Maybe a copper center post?

You generally want a 1 piece tube, makes better connection, never got shocked, that's stupid, tobh is not the best for flavor it's better for clouds, my quasar is the best flavor out of anything I've had dripper wise. Origen v2 is cool too but it's kinda in the middle and different to build on.
