I made 2 batches last night, Hazelnut cream and Pumpkin Roll. No steeping Hazelnut cream awesome from the start. Pumpkin good but not great. but vapable.

Give it time. And if you do give it time don't say you steeped it cause people get mad

I've only got one recipe that is harsh right after mixing and needs to steep.

All the rest are fine from the second they are mixed. A few get better with steeping, but just a few.

So, no, it isn't normal for me.

If it works for you, keep doing it. There is no wrong way.

I look at it this way ... steeping isn't going to hurt them ... and I have already experienced steeping improve some juice
