I'm a little behind everyone on upgrading, been with the Titan-510 for 2 yrs now, and decided it's finally that time to get something better.

I'm getting sick of having to overload my E-juice with more Menthol Crystals then I would like to, due to me not feeling like I'm getting a big enough hit. The more menthol crystals the stronger the hit for me, I would much prefer a stronger unit that gave me a big enough hit instead of having to rely on the Crystals to do the job.

The 2 ecigs that are catching my eye right now are the Janty Ego and the Mega T-Rex from Liberty Flights (can't beat LF's prices!!!).

EGO: Basically, what interest me about the Ego is that it is name-brand, high quality, reliable, the Price ($14 cheaper then the Mega T-Rex after 20% discount on both) and basically all the great reviews.

MEGA T-Rex- What interest me about this one is the higher mAh for longer batttery life (900 or 1100, compared to EGO's 650 mAh), and mainly the Green Ring that lights up when the button is pressed. I know most T-rex have the Blue ring, but Liberty Flights Mega T-Rex have a Green Ring (dispite the picture of it on there site having a Blue ring, it's green when you get it). I also like the shinnier front Metal tip of the T-Rex better as-well. Basically, I like the style of the T-Rex much better (even though they are very similar).

Here is the Mega T-Rex from Liberty Flights... Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - MEGA T-Rex

Here is there EGO... Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Joye eGo

Sooo, just wondering if anyone out there has tried both of these, if one gives a bigger better throat hit then the other (I will be using Janty Atty's for whichever one I get, LR), and also I am wondering about the quality of the Mega T-Rex. Not knowing the quality of this thing is the only thing really holding me back at the moment.

I seen reviews for the Regular T-Rex on YouTube, but can't find anything on the Mega T-Rex. I have read that they have fixed the problems with the battery comming apart.

Thanks much guys, opinions are much welcomed, as I will be dropping a good $300 down right off the bat into my stock-pile! :)

Thanks

Maybe this will help with your decision: The Joye eGo is regulated to 3.2v which is nice because it provides a very consistent vaping experience from the time it comes off the charger until just before the battery is dead. The T-Rex is unregulated 3.7v. it will come off the charger at 4.2v and slowly decrease to around 3.4 when it dies. The T-Rex acts much more like a mod in that you get the full benefit of 3.7v vaping.

You said you are looking to get a 'bigger hit' than you get from your TW Titan. TW products are re-branded joye products and I'm pretty sure the titan 510 is regulated 3.2v like all other joye 510 batteries.

So, I think you'll be a lot happier with the T-Rex.

If you move up to a 5v mod you will also get a bigger hit. The warmer vapor of the 5V mod will hit you more then the cooler vapor of the lower 3.2v ego.

5v x 5v/3ohms = 8.3 watts
3.2v x 3.2v/2ohms = 5.12 watts

The warmer vapor will give you a better hit and right around 8 watts is what most, not all, consider the sweet spot.

I like 8.56 watt dual coil and the dense warm vapor.

3.7v x 3.7v/1.6ohms = 8.56watts

Looks like we have similar sweet spots:)

Thanks alot everyone!

I'm actually more confussed now! lol

For the poster that said the T-Rex gives out more voltage then the Ego, from what the specs say (refer to links in my first post), these 2 ecigs are identical. 3.3 to 4.2 when you look at there specifications on Liberty Flights. I've watched 2 reviews already that said the T-Rex actually has a smoother, not as strong throat hit as others in its class.

Here's one of them reviews (or comparisons)... YouTube - ‪eGo Vs. Volcano Inferno Vs. T-Rex Vs. PigCig (Review)‬‏

I'm kinda digging the Valcano Inferno aswell.

Is there any regular (not Mod and not Provari) that gives out a higher voltage then 4?

I really want that Provari, but if I bought it, I wouldn't have to much money left to add Atty's and such to my stock-pile. I am also big on style, and the style of it is just not for me.

Thanks again for the help everyone, much appreciated! :)

^^^ Thanks for that Vid man, def a lesson, I'm really liking it!

Another one I am extremely interested in is the Echo! Great Thraot hit (from everything I watched and read), I LOVE that it has black with the Blue LED, but I'm on the edge with the Automatic (I would actually prefer Auto if it works). Reason being, if you see my Profile Pic, them are Auto's, and I just had major problems with them, up until I got my Titan 510 in July 09. Guess this is something I will just have to get over, as realizing these are Carto's, I would no longer be dripping, and from everything I read and seen, the switch has been much improved.

My only gripe on the Echo would be the mouth-piece, looks like something for my woman. Does anyone know if they have steel/metal mouth piece for the Echo? One that looks more manly?! lol

BTW, does the Echo have LR Carto's available yet?

Thanks
