Hello out there!

Today I officially bacame a vaper/ist! I got my 510 today, and so far I love it!

I have to tell a funny story about my first vaping experience.

I tore into the package as soon as it was delivered. I've been telling my family all about e-cigs, and I just had to show them how it works. Well, I had everything put together and was happily demonstrating how it worked. It didn't taste that great at first, but from what I've read here, that is not unusual. So I handed my 510 to one of my sisters, and she said the same thing about the taste. So after 20 minutes or so I concluded my demonstration. Still concerned about the taste, I went looking in my package for any instructions I missed.

I found out why the taste was off: I had happily been vaping an empty cart, and vaping the primer off the atty! In my excitement, I forgot to fill my cart with juice! I just assumed it was one of the pre-filled ones that came with my starter kit.
Well now that I've contributed to the image of vaping society, my family won't let me live this down! (But I still think several will start vaping themselves.)

LOL I get so excited when I get stuff too, and I got a lot of kr8 stuff today! I couldnt wait to get into all my packages! My hands were even shaking a bit, lol!

Today my wife used her VK for the first time. So her carto was empty and she asked me to refill it. After giving her a pep talk about how important it is for her to learn how to refill and how easy it is I proceeded to refill the Carto. I then gave it a spin and put it on the battery. I told her, See honey is that easy... I took a long drag and ended up choking on about half the juice I had put into the Carto.

Lesson #1 , make sure the filling soaks up for a bit before you try to vape that Carto.

ETT--Yeehaw! I was up early this am and checked my tracking numbers, which showed still in transit. I was so disappointed! But 2 hours later I got the update telling me they were at the post office. I threw on my clothes, and went dashing over there. I opened the package in the parking lot!

terrie1--I was like you, a kid at Christmas! lol!

jerrydon10--yes it was high quality primer, but it made a lousy vapor! Oh, by the way, come join our Missouri Vapers group. So far there are 3 of us, but we keep looking for more. Hope to see you there!

Haha! I have a "vaping on empty carts" story too, except I didn't.

Jack from Happy Vaper (where I bought my eGo), after reading my intro post here where I said the pre-filled carts tasted like nothing, called me sounding a tad alarmed because he thought I was vaping on empty carts!. That's because he took the time to verify my order which read "5 black blank whistle tip carts" (in the starter kit). Turns out they were pre-filled/round tips instead, with TOB-NONE label (tobacco flavor, nic free). That's what I call good customer service!

I actually did put some liquid on the atty to try to get rid of the primer taste! I was glad it burned off.

I'm suprised you could even stand that primer taste. It makes me sick to my stomach. I am obsessive about blowing that stuff out. I am happy for you on getting your 510. Enjoy!

LOL ok, even after the craptacular day i've had, that still made me chuckle a bit if only because i do it on a continual basis. ya figure i'd know by now. but no...
darned kids these days.....buy em books and i eat the pages.

Congrats for choosing e-cigarettes. Choosing the right supplier is the only reason why I haven´t bought my first e-cig yet. There are so many out there, hard to pick the right one. Hopefully will join the family of happy vapers soon.
