I thought the op was hilarious. Funny how our brains work. I stealth vape by holding in the vapor...if someone ever asks me, I'll just say I was chewing on it because I have an oral fixation...no one usually questions a female when she says that.

But seriously, our brains do funny things sometimes :). Hearing bacon...priceless

Exactly what I do too - LOL.

Well, I heard of people coughing next to a vaper like it's actually second hand smoke but I was sort of stealth vaping in a room, and some guy started looking around and stated that he was smelling bacon, lol.

I was using a sizzling Boge carto and vaping unflavored....

Hint- carto sounded like a frying pan and he imagined bacon frying.
I get the psychosomatic thing... but I really liked your post because of the edit LOL thanks for the laugh

Since we are here, for the posters that thought I was out of line for what I did, I gave your criticism some thought later that evening and decided to change my behavior at the clinic given that the gentleman was ill and didn't have the knowledge I did of the safety of vaping.

We have our own restroom close by with ventilation that I'll confine my vaping to.

It's all good, and thank you for your input.

So did your knowledge of safe vaping around others take into account that the sick person sitting next to you in the clinic may have a severe allergy to what your vaping?

Unflavored, held it in for 30 seconds, he was 25 feet away. Maybe 10 vapes in the 3.5hrs we are sitting there.
2 posts before you, I admitted selfish behavior and will change how I vape during my sessions there.
    We all good now?

I'm actually very aware of people around me, since I have a severe allergy to many perfumes and scents, yet I am bombarded by them daily. But I don't blame them (unless they know I'm allergic and spray it in my face) -- I just move away from them.

It's people like you doing things like this that ruin it for everyone! Why do some vapers think its ok to smoke In-doors, not to mention in a place where smoking would otherwise NOT be acceptable? A clinic? Really dude? Really?

No, ppl like him are not going to ruin it for everyone. BT/BP and politicians with their hands out for kick backs that are decreasing daily due to less ppl smoking... That is what will ruin the vape world that once was ! But like OP stated, there is a time and place for vaping, and has relented to a more secluded area. Cheers :)

It annoys me so much when posters here start getting preachy in regards where and when people should vape.
It starts with the assumption that the vaper will be blowing out massive plumes. Then it slides into allergy territory. Then it sidesteps to bad manners and etiquette......
It is incredibly narrow minded and aggressive to try and dictate what anyone should do without all the facts. It is exactly what Antz do daily.

Why don't we all assume that anyone vaping indoors is doing it in a discrete and respectful way. We are aware that second hand vapour poses no risk to non vapers. Most people do not have an allergy to the exhaled ingredients in e-cigs.....

    Lets make a better world.

Someone blowing out clouds of vapor is like someone pulling out their bottle of perfume and spraying it around while you are standing in checkout or sitting in a waiting room with them. Big difference in smelling the residue of vapor or perfume on someone verse coming in contact with it while it's airborne in a wet aerosol/vapor. Exhaled vapor also leaves a sticky clear film on things and no doubt carries with it some amount of nicotine as well as all other parts of the e liquid. Imagine someone. especially a child, coming around the corner or sitting in a waiting room with a severe allergy as vaper clouds rolls toward their face.

I am a firm believer in people being allowed to make their own choices, but when one is in a indoor public setting and vaping, you are forcing your choices onto others. Exposure to second hand vapor is not safer then no exposure to it at all...so the point is... we shouldn't be deciding for others what's not harmful enough or worthy enough of concern "on their behalf" and then proceed to vape on in places they will be exposed to it because you feel you know what's best for them. Sorry but that ideology sounds way too much like big gov which is why it's offensive to folks like me. It's even more appalling when folks furthermore have no regard as well to those with severe allergies as they blow clouds in lane 9 at the grocery.
Guess it doesn't matter because indoor vaping bans are already happening and taking care of that problem. It's just sad it had to come down to that and why. There is already enough BS going on with the powers that be, but this right here is BS as well.

When a poster speculates that I should imagine the process that has thus far only happened through the creative processes of the minds of opinionated (yet usually uninformed) individuals, my immediate discourse is to permanently halt my current actions.

    Common courtesy is one thing.

Imagining things to enforce another person's couth is another altogether.
