I just got my package today with my new Grant... (That's another review) and my imeoatties.... Three words.......
OMG!!!!!!
These things are the best thing since sliced bread... finally I can vape at HIGH VOLTAGE without burning my juice. All I get is more vapor and more flavor.... That simple...
Just to let you all know... I order only two of them. One 6v and one 7.4v. First I tried the 6v with 6v batteries. That was like a fully charged 5v vape on my Prodigy. Or the 901 on my PS pass thru at 5v or so... So very pleased with those results... Nice throat hit form an 801, now that is unusual... very pleasantly surprised.
OK then I try the 6v atty with two 3.7v batteries. Now things start to get better. That is just like vaping a regular atty at 6v without any change in taste. Just like a 901 at 3.7v but with about triple the vapor production. Two second puffs are like 10 second puffs at 3.7v.....
Now for the 7.4v atty at 7.4v batts( fully charged they are almost 8.2v actually).... About the same as the 6v with 6v batts but with almost double the vapor production... I take a 5 second puffs and I almost choke... almost... AND these are not broken in yet either... just wait until they break in... wow...
After my first impressions I think my favorite is the 6v atty with 7.4v batts... I just can not believe the taste has not changed ONE BIT... actually I get more of the taste of the juice because I am getting much more vapor much quicker.. therefore flooding my mouth and taste buds with taste.... This has opened up a whole new world for me... Now how about that AFS with one of these bad boys inside????? That is the day I wait for..

I am NOT a fan of a regular atty at 6v at all... and can barely stand a 901 at 5v on the Prodigy... the flavor is what I like about my juices. So I have been enjoying my 901s at 3.7v UNTIL NOW... This new atty idea that IMEO came up with is going to change the way mods are created and vaped in the future most definitely...
Mark my words... "High resistance IMEOATTIES equal more vapor, flavor, throat hit, and battery life"... Lets not forget who started this revolution...

I originally wasn't that interested in these atties myself because they are 801s, but from what others have said - particularly Stormy and now from what you said, I really want to give them a try. It sounds like they are what me and many others have really been waiting for.
I'll be sure to say what I think when I get them.

The GG 801 atties are not standard though - this is why they are having this effect on people using them at the higher voltages and why I want to try them out and see for myself.
You'll never get me to convert to ordinary 801s, but GG HV ones, just maybe. Although it's pretty hard to get me away from my AFS these days.

Emonty, you need to order the following:
CR123A 3.6V 1200mAh (pair) - Cloud 9 Vaping electronic cigarettes and e-smoking supplies
These ones are 1200mAh - to my knowledge it's not easy to get ones this high mAh and I certainly don't think DX do them anyway.
The charger you have does handle 3.7v batteries, but not ones of this size.
You need the following charger for these batteries (it's also good for CR2s if you use spacers with them):
Ultrafire CR123A 3v & 3.6v Dual charger - Cloud 9 Vaping electronic cigarettes and e-smoking supplies
You can use this charger at 3 or at 3.6/3.7 because it's got a little switch to change the voltage - very cool.
