I was putting in an order at COV for some parts to "refurbish" the TS I've just acquired from the classies and I've run into a bit of a quandry. I seem to be missing the Collection tank Center Post Plastic Stop O-ring. All the other rings are present and in excellent shape--is that one ring significant enough to warrant buying a new set of O-rings?

I do eventually plan on having "extras" of all the consumable parts on hand, but at the moment every penny has to be squeezed as much as possible :(

pwyll, After careful consideration and tons of user testing, Imeo has determined that the "Collection tank Center Post Plastic Stop O-ring" is not needed and there is no need to search further for a replacement. It was used in the V2 Aluminum TMF version but not in the SS.

Hi would any kind gent like to buy this kit for me , we cannot get anything like this at this price in the UK I would be happy to pay full cost and shipping to UK.

From Harbour freight
225 Piece Nitrile O-Ring Assortment
Item # 67609 metric sizes.

I could probably help you out Cliffy.... but I do advise the Standard US size kit the smallest o-ring in the standard kit is the exact same size as the ones that go around the iAtty ceramic as the Metric version is very thin and useless... just a heads up...let me know well work something out...

I would recommend most o-rings be purchased in the metric sizes for the reasons stated in my write-up. I haven't seen the kit of which you speak but I would guess there are sizes in there you don't need. In my experience the US sizes are too thick for our application. The US size for the iAtty ceramic do fit fine though.

see post #27 here:

Purchasing by proper metric sizes is relatively easy with the charts and size guides on the GG forum here. Here is a link and as you will see, although there is a minimum order of like 8 USD, you can get the sizes you need for any GG application without buying the extraneous pieces that generally come in generic kits.

oringsUSA

The sizes listed are just as the charts list them: Inside Diameter x Ring thickness. Example: The smallest rings for the GGTS are the battery plunger rings which are listed as 2 x 1 mm. That would be 2mm inside diameter with a ring thickness of 1mm.

Cliffy not sure if they ship over the pond but this site has great prices on individual o-rings maybe not quite as cheap but you can get exactly what you want.

I priced out o rings for every gg product listed in the o-ring guide x5 a while back and it came to like 10 bucks before shipping. Just a thought.
