I'm not sure this will do anything... petitions have passed for:
- Try Senator Diane Feinstein for Treason.
- Immediately impeach any president who attempts to infringe on the 2nd amendment.
- Revoke the Westboro Baptist Church's Tax Exempt Status
- Reclassify the Westboro Baptist Church as a Hate Group
None of which have happened...
NOT saying i didn't sign it... I did. I also posted it on my facebook...
I'm just saying I would not expect anything to come of it if we do hit 25,000 except maybe a little bit of awareness.
Anything more than that I will see as a massive bonus.

Awareness is what we need most... I would like to push for some media coverage when we hit 25k. I sent a note to CASAA and Spinfuel asking them to send notes out to venders to put links on their home page. I'll ask CASAA to push for media coverage also. Not to put your note down but the issues at hand seem very different.
