Hi folks, I finally pulled the trigger on a precise plus 18650 order. Had to I just received my DID and it does not go with anything I have
So my question is this, can I ask for an 18350 body and will the caps from the 18650 work with it? I'd love to have the option any how.

Also any one know how to turn a chromed object say like a Penelope satin finished?

The caps would be the same for either the 18350 or 18650 model, but you'd have to ask David directly if he'd sell you just a body with no caps. Good choice of mod, though, the DID is a perfect fit for it

As for satin finishing a Penelope, you could have it media blasted to satin-ize it.

The caps from any 18 series precise will work on other 18series but keep in mind that every batch of satin P+'s vary a bit so you may be able to see a difference in finish. Also David mentioned that he should have some spare caps for sale sometime in the near future. Also, when you say chrome, I assume you are talking about highly polished stainless steel, if something is chrome plated then you definitely do not want to sand blast it since it will remove the finish, but since the penelope is steel, you can use a sandblaster from harbor freight(20bucks) to make a fairly close match, or there is someone on this forum that actually does it as well but I am not sure what technique he uses to achieve the finish.

I do have some of the new style slotted caps that are in cue to be prepared. I had hoped to get them done sooner then later, but we are doing our best to get out the backlog of orders so we can get them done.

Ahhhhh hells yeah! I am headed to Portland in a few weeks on a business trip and can't wait to get my new Precise out to the west coast. This will be my first time past Vegas and I am excited to have a full arsenal of P+'s with me. An 18650, 10440, and now the one I have always wanted --- a satined out P+500.

supert has never sold just the tubes so probably not, although maybe someday. I never thought that we would see caps for sale separately and those are suppose to be available soon so who knows. What I did was buy a 18500 flat top and 18350 slant, that way I could swap the caps if I wanted to.
