What is the max VG that I can use in a Protank Mini 2? It is standard and has not been rebuilt. Sorta in a hurry b/c I am about to buy at a vape store! Thanks ECF!

MaxVG should be doable if you remove the flavor wicks. Worst case scenario you will have to rewick with light cotton wick if airlocking. All I vape is Max and 100% and rewicking with cotton is an automatic for me.

I've used stock heads and 100%vg and haven't had too many issues, I've heard that if you add just a drop or two of distilled water it helps.

I use 50/50 in Evods and a PT2 mini with the stock heads. The Evods wick fine, the PT2 does have trouble keeping up with chain vaping. It can usually keep up with a few priming hits every couple puffs. I wouldn't recommend more than 50% VG.

I've used 100% VG in pro tanks and pro tank mini's. As long as I keep it primed, I don't have any issues.

I find that 40vg/60pg works good in my Mini Pro Tank 3. In my T3S I have used 70vg/30pg without any issues. I'm a chain vaper. My pro tank gets really hot after a few minutes so I always give it a break and chain vape my T3S while my mini pt3 cools off.

I vape like 70-80% vg on my protanks all the time with cotton wicks.

I've also vaped 90 vg + 10 water nonic on my protanks.


That's all eyeballed guesstimations; no careful exact syringing.

Went to vape shop and purchased when I went home the label said 60:40 when I asked for 40% PG and 60% VG. I was confused so I called the shop back, and I was like, usually it is PG:VG, I ordered 40% PG and 60% VG so why does it say 40:60 (PG:VG) ? He said that some shops did it that way (backwards {VGG}). has anyone ever heard of this lol? PG:VG...vs...VGG? Isn't that like L x W haha or am I mistaken?

Yes; bottom coil tanks like the protanks can handle high vg better than the older topcoil tanks where the liquid had to slowly wick its way upward against gravity.

I regularly use 70 - 80% VG juices in my MiniPT3 with the stock coils and I have no problems either.
