In Love with Vaping!

I quit smoking on January 6th and switched to e-cigarettes. I tried an analog a few days later and it tasted horrible! I can't believe that I don't even crave smoking any more And I love not stinking like a filthy ashtray anymore! I first tried out e-cigs with a store bought disposable blu cig in menthol back in November. And I also tried a store bought eco-cig rechargeable kit as well. Then I ran into a mall kiosk selling smokefree e-cigs and that was the end of smoking for me... especially when I tried and was surprised that I actually liked other flavors like vanilla

So now I've officially become obsessed. I've switched to V2s and have several batteries, a PCC, lots of flavors, and a notebook cig. I LOVE the notebook cig for when I'm sitting at my iMac vaping mindlessly! (I've been a "lurker" here for a while, so I guess I'm a long time lurker, first time poster LOL)

And..... drumroll please.... I ordered the eGo-T and some juices from virginvapor.com yesterday and can hardly wait for them to get here.

Just wanted to share the love, and welcome any advice and/or tips from you more experienced vapors and vaporettes!

Welcome TasteOfPeace. Sounds as though you're off to a great start! Advice? Well, drink a lot of water! Vaping will dehydrate you. If you think you're already drinking enough, you're not.

I have been reading about all the water you need to drink. Why is that? How does PG dehydrate you?

It's known for it's properties to suck moisture from anything it contacts. It's why it's used in cosmetics so they don't dry out and it's why it creates vapor. It will draw it from you when it's inhaled as well. Couple that with the fact that you are exhaling more and you can get dehydrated very quickly. A bottle of water nearby and a moisturizing mouth spray help a lot.

I'm also pretty happy my with eGo-T. It was a huge step up from my Blu. Almost up to 3 weeks no analogs and loving it! Trying to get all my other smoking friends to switch. Giving away my Blu in hopes that it will convert her into one of us :]

I had no idea about the dehydration ha... Good to know. Maybe that has something to do with my throat feeling so dry lately.

OMG! They are right about the dehydration. My lips have never been so dry! Thank God for Chapstick and ice cold seltzer
