Let's start of by saying I work in a prison and can not have any "electronic contraband". I could actually get into more trouble bringing in a PV as opposed to real cigarettes. If I were to "hypothetically" buy something, I might consider the SD keyring but thought something that looked like an actual pen would be better. If you don't want to "hypothetically" help me break the rules I understand. I just hope I'm not breaking any forum rules as I post this. Any "hypothetical" info would be great.

Interesting problem. I don't know if this suggestion will work, but the new EVO, selectable/variable PV comes with a cover that from the picture makes it look something like a pen with a top on it. The EVO has gotten very good reviews. You can vape at 3.7 volts, 4.5 volts or 5.0 volts so it covers all the bases in a simple manner.

How would your prison "hypothetically" feel about you bringing in tools? Specifically a screwdriver? The Silver Screwdriver E-NIC-MKII I've heard pretty good things about this device and IMO it looks very much like a nice screwdriver. You can also check out the review here. That being said, I just use my regular black KR808 batteries that do not have an led light on the end in my law school, which is not amenable to me vaping inside the school. In fact, with these batteries I've been able to stealth vape during my final exams (keep it on the DL)

I personally vape an ego with a smoktech dct, lots of people think it's a pen. Cover up the clear tank part with some electrical tape or something to keep it from looking like a pipebomb... Wear longsleeves and stealth vape it.

No tobacco allowed in the prisons. If I were to get caught I think the first time is just a written warning, then like a few days unpaid suspension. Electronic contraband is, I think, and automatic suspension. Second offense is 30 days.. I'd not like I'm sneaking in a cell phone or laptop of something. We do have a "smoke box" outside where we can smoke, but I'm afraid to put a PV in there as someone might steal it (gotta watch out for the guards too) but it wouldn't break the bank is someone stole a cheap $20 pv.

I've been waiting patiently ( Ok sort of patiently, for a given value of patient ) since 4/17. I want mine for work too, but my employer doesn't have as good a reason to ban tobacco. They say smokers take too long on break.
I'd keep a decent mod or ego-type PV in the smoke box. That will give you the best chance to stay off the cigarettes. Keep the drip tip with you. I guess at this point you just have to trust your co-workers to respect your property.
