I've tried auto batteries and manual batteries. They both have strong points, and I use both types daily.

But I like my autos better.

Autos just feel right. You can puff on them like a cigar. Your suction does the work, not your finger. They just give me a better vaping experience.

I know you all like manuals. I know you're all going to continue telling newbs to get manuals. I think it does them a disservice. Autos are good too, and some people will prefer them.

I'm not here to debate why I'm wrong. I know the advantages of manuals. But they aren't my preference. I'm here to get all the auto lovers to come out of the closet. I can't seriously be the only one who likes autos, right? RIGHT?

If you love autos, stand up and be counted!

I have autos---use them rarely but they are fitting for some occasions. As an auto, my Super White battereis (Njoy) stink, but my little DSE102 batteries work good and actually last longer than any other factory battery I've owned.
The problem is when juice gets in them, they die. If not immediately, soon after. If it takes a while, then I end up with problems like them turning themselves on and sometimes staying on. Then there is the auto cut offs---I don't like waiting "whatever time" before taking the next drag.

The bad part of manuals is if I do switch to autos, I miss having to push the button!!!

It is nice to see that I am not the only one who prefers auto batts. We didn't push a button to smoke, so it feels wrong having to push a button to vape. An auto is just more comfortable, I can hold it any which way, and I can vape hands free for a second or two if I need to.

The only manual I have is a nicostick that I use to dry burn/ clean my atties with.

Yeah, cars are great. Drivin around...and stuff

Oh wait, autobatts? heheh. Some people like em a ton, I'm not one of em which keeps me constantly surprised how many people are straight up autobatt users.

The main reason I have such an aversion to new vapers using autobatts is because the likelihood they'll flood their atty is WAY higher early on, and such they'll likely destroy the vacuum switches more often when they're new.

I love auto batts too! My first were a few half-dead Luci's from my MIL, one of which I still have as a back-up. Got a white 510 auto awhile back and use it when I'm driving.

The Joye auto batt has only a pinhole so I haven't had any problems with juice getting in it. The hole in the Luci is bigger and that did get gunked up, but I managed to clean it out with a twist of paper towel and rubbing alcohol.

You make a really good point, but where the button is on a manual is always where I had my finger anyhow!

Still, I have one good auto battery to use when perfroming duties that require both hands .. the autos are nearly as good, but not as good.

I must be odd, because I've never managed to get fluid into an auto batt. Then again, I'm one of those perfectionist types.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. Every time there's one of those newbie threads that ask which is better, I try to represent, but I end up getting shouted down by the masses who prefer manuals. Now I don't feel quite so alone.

Feeling alone isn't new to me. I'm a "Mac-addict". Manual vs automatic feels like PC vs Mac to me!

Oh, the power of the masses!

I prefer the autos as well - just seems closer to the whole smoking experience. I have found that one or two of the juices I use need to get heated a little more to produce a good vapor, so I will use manuals for those, otherwise I need a couple of primer puffs every time. But I prefer the autos to the manuals.

Ms. T's juice in a carto on an auto can't be beat for vapor, IMO. If you haven't tried it, please do! :)
