As to your original question, you could pre-mix PG/VG/NIC and allow for 20% as one poster suggested. However, keep in mind that many flavors only take1-3% so that final juice would end up at higher than your expected NIC concentration. I do like everyone else and break down into 30ml amber bottles into the freezer. When add what I need per batch, using full 100mg/ml NIC each mix. Just be careful; wear rubber gloves during that step if you want to be cautious.
As to stock-piling prior to FDA crack-down - I'm doing a little of that. I hope they don't have the authority to ban/limit non-NIC items like flavoring, wire, etc etc. "So, you want to buy some strawberry flavoring? Can I see your permit?" Will we need to wear a little cloth carto insignia sewn to our coats when we're in public?

At least we have time to prepare for vape-apocalypse. We've all known it was coming. We can do a lot of prep in a couple years, which is probably how long it will take before it's all said and done. I really just shudder that the FDA wants to regulate every single vape related product. It's so so insane. Cartos are actually my biggest consumable these days. Mech mod peeps are the true preppers I suppose. I'm not a mech mod kind of gal tho. Just a few Provari's, Carto tanks, and my ejuice and I'm a happy camper.
I'm just new to DIY. Didn't know about glass jars & transfer part, eeeeeeeek. Might be stupid but Memorial day weekend is coming up, ordering will take 5 days. Can I use a good, cleaned glass jar from cherries or something to store nicotine in? Can u plz send me a personal message as I have some other questions if you don't mind.... I'm using ethyl crystals, everybody says break em down in 10 ml but I don't need 10 ml of PG mix.. Just wanna ask couple of questions, plz help!
A big thank you to all of you for your help! Today I successfully made my very first DIY E-juice! I used wizard labs stuff and have been vaping New york cheesecake today. After a tiny bit of tweeking, its come out fantastic! That Ejuice calculator worked like a CHAMP! This is surprisingly liberating from having to rely on others for my juice! I can only imagine the endless possibilities for flavors and customization! My first stash of Nic is in the freezer. Time to continue stocking up on Nic. Let them OUTLAW it, TAX it to the moon, Ban it, but at the end of the day, THEY CAN KISS MY ROSY RED ....! The money saved until zero hour is enough to let me buy 50years worth of DIY supplies! Funny how the expense adds up at nearly 17bucks a 30ml weekly from the twits at my local B&M.

A Clean Glass Jar that some other Food came is Going to be Fine in Some Cases. You have to give Close Scrutiny to the Lid of the Jar though. I would suggest Purchasing some Glass Bottles that have "Poly Caps" and use them for Storing things in.
But if you Can't get ahold of them Today or in time for you DIY Supplies to come, I wouldn't Freak Out Over it. Just get them as soon as you can and do the Transferring when they arrive.
HI BM. I vape at 16mg. I used 40%PG and 60%VG and 10%. Just finished my first tank through the Kayfun. I wanna tear it down and see how funky my coil is. I'm just stoked my juice didnt turn almost black in a single tank of Ejuice I've been getting at my local B&M. The local twits think just adding more flavor is a good thing. (AND thats why I'm not buying from them anymore!) I'm still VERY new at this DIY thing, so I'm the LAST person you wanna trust probably. ;-)
But no chemical taste thats for sure. I tested in an igo-L, but it tasted WAYY better in my Kayfun. They are such the flavor machines that for sure!

Thanks.The highest ihad tried it at yet was 6%,and i tried it again tonight,and i was off a bit.I dont think it was really a chemical taste,more just a dry lite taste,so i will make it again at 10% and maybe i will finally get the taste i have been looking for,i love cheesecake,so if i can get this to come out good,i should be happy haha.
I don't go to super great measures. I hoarded large enough amounts of nicotine last spring (will last for 3-5 years consumption wise at least for 2 people) from a source and type of nicotine that I allready knew I loved. All are in dark glass bottles in their own freezer. I use it and I put it back into the freezer until it gets to an amount that I know I will use up in the next 3-4 weeks then I leave that bottle in the crisper area of the fridge in a small box.

Why not use the 99% pur liquid Nic, its USP and about 990mg/mg nicotine. I see it shipping from china for $225/Liter that should go a long way. Is it too dangerous for most to work with such strength?

Its very dangerous and precautions are necessary at 100 mg NIC let alone pure nicotine. Nobody except a professional chemist with a lab, a degree and serious lab equipment should even go near pure nicotine. There is a sticky near the top of the DIY forum ---don't even think we are supposed to discuss those kind of levels. See all the strong warnings at the top of the page when you even enter this section? It annoys me but its necessary as we don't want anyone injuring themselves or worse.

As pure the Rules of this Forum, we are Not Allowed to Discuss the Use of Nicotine Base over 100mg/ml. It is a Violation of the TOS.
You should consider editing you post to remove any references to Nicotine Base above 100mg/ml
Because Unless you have a Some Level of Expertise, the Necessary Protection Equipment and a Place to Safely handle Very High Levels Nicotine Concentrations, you are Putting yourself in Eminent Danger.

Got 3L of 100mg/ml nic base so far, couple more next month should do it at 12mg/ml juice. 3 Kayfuns, 2 more being ordered. VTR, MVP new in boxes stashed away. I'm not so worried about mods as much as I am clearos or tanks RBA RDA. The mods can be "dual purposed" to be a flashlight with a 510 connection to screw in different color bulbs for instance, thus hopping through the "tobacco" device loophole. Tanks, not so much. Wire I wouldn't worry about, it has many other uses. Cotton balls being banned? I don't think so. Same with batteries.
That's why I have a good pile of clearos stocked away along with some extra Kayfuns, Rockets and RDAs. I wanted to go ahead and stock up coil wire and Ekowool wicks. These items will probably not be officially blocked by the FDA but research "Operation Choke point" to see how this government does not require an actual law to effect their desired outcome. I intend to have all supplies to last me several years regardless of what they allow.
I would caution about storing devices with built-in batteries for too long like the MVP. I would think a year or so of storage would be OK but I don't know how much longer they would last un-used.

I have a pretty jaded outlook on how and who our politicians represent. I figure the big tobacco/pharmaceutical lobbyist are putting the pressure on for regulations and total control of anything tobacco related. It all comes down to money, follow the money to the root of all evil. Money and special interest groups controls policy making in Washington. These lobbyist are pumping big money into campaign donations for preferential treatment pertaining to laws, regulations and tax breaks.
The people are useful idiots for votes and taxes. I'm afraid pleading and or proving your case falls on deaf ears for any cause as the vaping community does not represent a voting block nor do they contribute to campaign donations. To simplify...if someone ask you to work for them...are you going to work for the guy who's gonna pay you or the guy who wants you to work for free. Washington is bought and paid for by big corporations and there's two ways to pay...votes and money.
