Why does nic need to be transferred to a glass bottle?

Some people like to use Glass Bottles because it Eliminates the Possibility of Chemicals leaching into a Nicotine Base/e-liquid. And that Glass dose not Impart any Tastes onto Liquids as Some Plastics do.

Glass is also a Very Efficient moister barrier. Both going Out and going In.

This very much. I've always ordered from wizard labs and kept the nic in the same bottle it was rcvd in, then in a ziplock then in a tool box for e juice supplies.

I think WL would be about one of the Last Vendors to send a Chemical Solution in a Container that was Unsuitable for Storage. But I can Not Say that for All Vendors.

Glass, to me, takes the Guesswork out of knowing if a Container will Work. Or if Will Not Work.

And I like Glass because I can Reuse it Over and Over without the Chance of Lingering Flavors. And Glass can be Made Sterile. Which is something to consider Especially for Long Term Storage of Anything.

I buy 2oz amber glass bottles from Amazon for under $10 a dozen. They come in a compact little divided cardboard box. I then transfer my nic into these bottles then back into the box and into the freezer. One liter fills 15 bottles to the top with a little left over. Practical little 2oz bottles of 100mg nic to use as needed or stored for the long term. Considering some of it is for long term storage I prefer to use glass and to leave it untouched/unopened, in the freezer, and away from light in the box.

I should add….I wash the glass bottles first then fill with boiling distilled water or PGA, empty, then let air dry before I transfer my nic. Yes, 2oz = 60ml but they must hold a tad more when filled to the top as I use only 15 bottles (with about 15ml leftover) per 1000ml.
