Today I left the house drove up to the highway and realized I had a dead battery in my pocket. It was a little tough but i went to the gas station and they had a njoy disposable that I grabbed and it got me through the next couple hrs until I got home to a charged battery.
I was suprized at how well the little njoy performed but now I realize I need a backup to keep in the car.
I have an ego battery that I use LR boge cartos on as my main pv and was thinking of getting a 510 battery and if i could find a (car charger for it that would be awesome )as my backup
So do you think one of them little 510 batteries would be a good option for me as a backup. I am looking for something small that I could just take the carto from the ego and screw right onto something els as my backup until i can get to a charged battery

While I would definitely recommend a mega 510 slim style battery as a backup, you do have one problem. LR cartos aren't supposed to be used on any battery lower than about 450mah, and the slim style range from 180mah for a reg to 220-280mah for a mega to even 350mah for a mega xl. They're very nice batteries, the only thing I use right now, but I don't use LR cartos. Unfortunately I don't have any suggestions for you other than to try to find a car charger for your ego, maybe?

Edit: bruiser beat me to it

Depending on what you are willing to spend...

I would have loved to suggest to myself the 1100mah kgo kit just for the batteries, knowing what i know now!!! They are interchangeable with the ego.

I would still pick up a kgo kit, but I just blew my wad on a VV mod (just ordered today)

The kgo kit is $44 located here - KGO 1100 mAh 2 battery kit

Just my 2¢
