Big Tobacco back in TV viewers' faces as FDA cuts in
Big Tobacco back in TV viewers' faces as FDA cuts in
I understand the need to regulate the age at which people should be allowed to purchase gear/liquids and whatnot...but the FDA saying "We don't know whats in it," just makes me laugh...
IF they actually tested it rather than constantly saying "it might be dangerous, we don't know whats in it" they might actually get somewhere. I know it takes time to see the long term effects on people but still...
And about the whole "some explode" thing...tons of things explode and cause damage to person and property...Cars for instance...I'm sure they weren't perfect when they first became popular either, but look at the auto industry now.
Where i live in the UK a local paper ran a story on a guy who had bought an ecig for the first time and had ended up with a mouth ulcer and his gums got a bit sore. There was no mention of the fact that it could have been an allergic reaction to PG, or that he could have got a bit of the fluid in his mouth, it was all about the evil ecig and how he advised everyone to stay away from them. He was also quoted as saying that his dentist told him he would have been better of carrying on smoking normal cigarettes.
I feel like vapers in general just aren't going to stand up and be 'loud' enough to be heard by the idiots in the government. We don't have the money and firepower that big tobacco companies do. The fact that vaping saved your life or mine just looks like a shrinking profit margin to them.
I think we will, and I am in fact counting on it.I feel like vapers in general just aren't going to stand up and be 'loud' enough to be heard by the idiots in the government.
