I'm so excited about the mod that I'm going to be making when all my supplies show up.

I would like to throw out to Cisco for helping me with all my parts for this mod.

The plan for this mod is an all in one job. You can run it at 3.7V, and you can run it at 6v. You could also use two 801 atomizers at one time if you wanted too, or just one if you didn't want the major vapor cloud.

It will feature one 901 thread, two 801 threads, and one 510 thread. So in other words it's 3-E-Cigs in one with out the need for adapters. Then thanks to the outer ring that is taller than most flashlights it will protect the threads from being damaged when they are not in use, or if the device gets dropped.

For the 6v setup
2 pcs of Li - ion 17335-1000mAh 3.0V Battery (17335-1000)
$8.98

For the 3.7 setup
2 pcs of UltraFire 2400mAh 3.7V-Protected Battery(UF18650-2400P) - 18650/18500/17670 - Flashlights, Batteries and more - Quality China Goods

2 pcs of UltraFire 2400mAh 3.7V-Protected Battery(UF18650-2400P)
$14.59 for two of them

This Charger only Charges 3.7v batteries, and according to Cisco(thanks again) it would be a bad idea to charge 3.0v batteries in it.

Here is the plan in a simple mock up drawing. All atomizers will be hot when turned on. You click the on, and off switch on the back of the device, and the led from the front will light up. This will be behind painted glass, or Plexiglas which has not been decided on. It will not blind the user(or me lol) because the glass will be painted. Then there will be a normal switch that you click to vape with. I'm thinking of a rocker switch. I have come to really like that kind of a switch from my simple mods.

All is on the way from China, and I hope to get started on it soon!

Thanks again Cisco

This is a really good idea, well thought out I must say. The LED lets you know if the power is to the switch. and you can use whatever attys you decide to use, with whatever voltage you feel like at the time. All in one unit.
I hope you dont mind but Im gonna have to try this as well. Probably have to go with 4 attys 801, 901 510 and 4081. Two males and two females :D I only use one at a time anyways, the two atty guns are for special occasion you know ;).
I cant wait to see what you do with this ...

Yes, I plan on using two 801's at one time, or at one time.

Yea, that is the problem with rocker switches. I wonder if there is a way to put a cut off in it like they have in regular batteries to fight that problem.

I have no idea on where to find something like that tho....besides in normal E-Cig batteries. maybe I could rip one of those out lol....but the voltage might fry it......Even the manual batteries have cut offs in them. At least my 510 batteries do.

Would like to use a rocker that has a led in it.

Hey D,

If you want to use the rocker switch you need to find a momentary rocker switch, this way it cannot be left on, when you release the switch it will snap back to the off position.

Cisco...

Then I would have adapters to keep up with lol

Until they start making atomizers without threads, and using RCA as a standared I would switch over to it.

Keep up with?

You just have to build your adapters one time and never have to think about them again, that is the whole point of the RCA.

They will obviously never make atomizers without threads  and will never use RCA as a standard.
RCA is for modders and people that want the ease of switching batteries and atomizers on the fly with no limitations i believe.

Now, if you want to do this project just for fun or/and the challenge, i wish you luck and will be looking for the results.

You don't want anything that can stay on all the time if you forget or it gets bumped. Yes, protected LiIon should have a low voltage protection and an overheat sensor, so worst case if you left it on should be battery that needs charging. Though, personally I wouldn't want to leave an 16850 2400mAh on for an hour non-stop. That would be a lot of heat generated.
(Sidenote: has anyone ever just tried to run an atty for an hour non-stop like on a USB? Especially one of the atty with a ceramic rod coil)

You could try to take a microcontroller out of an old ecig battery, but it would only work on one battery at the same voltage, and it probably would be hard to re-solder.. and it's hard to say if they limit the current to something much lower.

(Is there any macro photos of the chips inside the auto batteries? I didn't see it in the forum)

Well my stuff came in!

Man, this flashlight is bad ...! I almost don't want to break it lol.....I mean you can see it during the DAY LIGHT EVEN!!!

Anyways it's smaller than I thought, but it's bigger than little too. It will be able to fit all the fittings as I had planed to do.

It has three settings, Brighter, bright, and strobe. I wonder what strobe would do to an atomizer lol.....

Anyways I'm not sure if that is in the back with the button, or if it's in the front with the light.

It is in the driver, so it is upfront with the light.
