It does sound good but...you must still be using WL nic if you still feel the need to add EM. if you are using a non-peppery nic, maybe try it once without the em, Inawera flavorings don't need to be smoothed, combined, muted, covered up etc. :)

Yeah maybe its me but do you remember Inawera has a VPG+ base? I don't think they conceived it to be used with "peppery" nic. Also, I use Inawera Ethylmaltol. And yes, I am still using regular nicotine although it is not from WL and it is not peppery. I do not use EM in all my mixes but I like it in some. I appreciate your comment though.

I didn't get a peanut flavor but it reminded me of Hangsen RY1. I don't like it much as standalone but in a TA Virginia base with some DNB it rocks (Danny's Recipe)

Thanks, it's going to be mixed with Menthol for my buddy so he might like it as a standalone.

It is almost a shame to step on Inawera's outstanding tobacco flavors with menthol but I do this in one of my Kayfuns, seeing that I smoked menthol for over 25 years. The S'Camel/VAT/DNB combo with menthol is out of this world good. -Like Hangsen RY1, but even better!

Ok maybe you guys can help me out here, and please forgive me as I havent read the whole thread. I just dipped my toes in inawera and got some flavors from vaperstek. I have:
Cherry (wisnia)
Mango
Gold Ducat
Virginia
Virginia Tob Absolute

Now I mixed all at 3% flv. The tobaccos I can nail down. I think I need to go to 4% on them. They are a little weak I think. However the cherry and mango seem real weak to me. Can someone give me a better percentage to start at with those? I like my fruit flavors strong when I do vape them.

Are making the "inawera bases" like dnb, tab, etc.... a necessity for better results? I cant do PG.

I find some of them good at 3%; others I need to mix up to 5% and never had to go over it but if you find 5% weak, raise until you find what you like.
There are other factors like pg/vg % (I use 50/50 but I've read that some ppl that use more vg than pg may need to raise flavoring a bit), if you are using 100%VG for your mixes then maybe you need a bit more of flavor. Also, the delivery device that you are using (drippers are the best to taste flavors, but what you find good in a dripper could be very weak in a tank). Others may suggest that using the UK based nicotine solution from Vapers Tek will be the best you can do to get a great flavor using even less flavoring, and I believe it but I can't vouch for it since I'm still using classic :)

And finally if you need the bases. Yes and no. At least you don't need to buy the bases from Inawera, you can make them easily. Just go to Inawera Shop website, click on BASES, GLYCOL, GLYCERINE tab and you will find how to make the bases for yourself. But you even don't need to make those bases...what you can do is purchasing DNB flavor and DARK TOBACCO flavor. The first one will give an ashy taste to your mixes and the second will enhance the tobacco flavor and give them more "body" . Of course any of those should be used only if you want to imitate cigar-cigarette or any other tobacco. Now, do you REALLY need them? That is for you to decide. Good luck!

I mix the tobaccos together cause I like them better mixed than stand alone...

Virginia 2.7% or Gold Ducat
Virginia TA 2.7% or Dark Tobacco
DNB 1.5%

BTW VG based mixes are gonna take a bit longer to come out.

And you don't need the pre-mixed bases just get the flavors and mix them on the fly.
