I don't have any experience of the "coffee tobacco" either, but as I write this I'm vaping on a combination of the TA Virginia and the Kawa (coffee) flavour.
The coffee is a genuine unsweetened black coffee and the Virginia adds a sweetness and tobacco notes with a bit of the "ashy" taste you get from DNB.
Needs a ratio of around 3 coffee to 1 virginia.

Hi,

I don't have any experience with INW Coffee Tobacco.

I do have INW Tobacco absolute Virginia and although it has a sweet note it is not sour as in leaning toward apple cider, Each manufacturers' flavors are a bit different in taste, I also have INW Tobacco absolute cigar and it definately leans towards a cigar taste, I don't have any experience with Garuda and Oriental absolute.

The INW dark tobacco has a deep smoky taste and slightly sweet as well as Little space drop, both of these could be mixed with a coffee flavor imo.

Kurt

Kurt, do you get mint/menthol from the Dark Tobacco? I have only steeped it for six days, mixed at 6 drops per 10 mL. I'm not getting much tobacco at this time from it. It's a smooth minty vape but maybe with ultra light kind of tobacco hint so far.

Thanks.

Hmm... Maybe I should explain why I'm looking for something like this -- I have a Pipe Sauce, "Long Bottom Leaf," which I like a great deal, but, it's 95% VG, which is WAYYYYYYYYYYYY more Vg than I can deal with, so I thought it would be good if I can DIY something similar, to mix it with. To me, Long Bottom Leaf is very smoky, but sweet, like a real pipe; it has a strong coffee taste/smell too, and even some very elusive notes of chocolate/mocha, and maybe even a touch a sweet vanilla in there somewhere. I thought if I can DIY a coffee-ish sweet tobacco, and add a touch of TA to it, I could come pretty close to the same flavor, but mix up my DIY at 100% PG, and then mix the DIY blend with the Long Bottom Leaf, at about 3:1 or 4:1, to eliminate so much of that very bothersome VG, but still keep a similar sort of flavor.

Still very interested in finding out more about the Oriental and Garuda tobacco absolute, if anyone knows anything about them.

I do not detect a mint or menthol note however I mix it with other flavors and haven't tried it solo.

I'm vaping the Peach Pie right now. :D

This might be the best Peach Mix i've made.

Giving a statement like that without even a hint of your recipe does not seem sporting at all!

You Tease You! :D

Well, I've finally settled on 3, that I added to my wishlist -- funds are a bit tight at the moment, but I want to follow up on this as soon as I'm able, because I really like the particular flavor, but I can't handle all the VG in Pipe Sauce.

I added these three, to try and recreate the flavor:

The primary taste should be the coffee/tobacco flavor, and on the sweet side; a touch of the chocolate/vanilla of Deluxe TDM, and a touch of the Virginia Tobacco Absolute; don't want "ashy," just smoky, so a very light touch. Hopefully I can get these pretty soon and start my experimenting. I'll post here, however it turns out.

No, no hot water bath first. Just steeping it at room temperature. What did you think of the S'Camel?

I did a 8 hour hot water bath first and let sit overnight, I like it and is very similar to a filtered camel, however I mixed DNB equal parts with it and I don't detect any chemical notes.

Thanks Kurt :)
You bet [emoji3]
Using a hot water bath speeds up steep time up to a certain point, then only father time will do.

Some steep in hot water for various amounts of time but I do mine for no less than 8 hours and have had very good results.

First off, I'm interested in the "coffee tobacco" flavor... can anyone tell me anything about it, other than "morning coffee, slight milky taste, slight taste of tobacco"? Is it sweet? Is it smoky at all? Can you actually taste tobacco in it?
Andria

I found this review for the coffee-tobacco flavour. Sounds interesting - I might try some with my next order.

Thanks Kurt, I used to do hot baths but I haven't done it for a while since I don't have a reliable setup for constant temperature.

Oops - just realised that's a review for Coffee Paradise.

Yeah, I looked at that one, too; that one and Coffee Tobacco are side by side at bullcity; I decided the coffee tobacco was more what I'm looking for, probably somewhat sweeter; I don't put much sugar in coffee, but there's gotta be *some* -- maybe a teaspoon in a normal sized cup -- or it's just too bitter to me, and I also add a LOT of milk, and the coffee tobacco mentioned the 'slight milky taste'.

I think the Coffee Tobacco, with a light touch of the Deluxe TDM, and an even lighter touch of the VA TA, will approximate the taste I'm looking for, very closely. Since I'm going to mix it with 100% PG, I may also need to add just a touch of sweetener, since no VG to contribute to the sweetness. I'd order it now, but it's a week till payday, so I better hold off; we'll probably need a few more things from the grocery, milk and whatnot, before next friday, so vaping stuff has to take a backseat. :D

If you're looking for a milky sweet coffee try the cappuccino - it's a frothy milky taste with a slightly bitter coffee undertaste. Haven't tried mixing it with the TA Virginia yet, but I probably will at some point, but it mixes well with the Kawa and the dark and milk chocolate flavours.
