I have and like the Truskawka Koncentrat which is advertised as a proper sweet strawberry flavor. Might be one to try if you haven't done so already.From one flavor hound to another, ... make a 2ml solo "test", at 4%.
Then you can go from there.
I try all my new flavors solo, and the Shisha Strawberry was great.
It's not "real, or fresh" tasting, ... that must be the "Shisha" part
BUT ... it's the only Strawberry I use now in my recipes, and it doesn't take a lot.

I do have the Wild Strawberry which is good too.
But that one, and the Shisha, both lack that "fresh" taste to me, even though they are both good, and I use them both.
The Wild Strawberry is very odd. I use it but at like 0.5% with other strawberries. I don't recall the percentages (its written down at home) but I mix it with Shisha Strawberry and Sweet Strawberry and a bit of INW Dragonfruit. It makes for a tasty strawberry. Nice mix between realistic and candy.

So, I try to make up for it everywhere I can.Yes, I too have found that combining basically the same flavors from different company's can actually turn two bad's into a good, or at the least a "better" .
Doesn't work with everything, but like in trying to find the elusive "good" chocolate, it helps.
Any "creams mixed improve too.
Alright so I mixed up a sample of Waffle today, I think it was 2% and maxVG, put it in the UC a couple of hours and oh my freaking goodness. Is it just me or is Waffle among the most beautiful vape flavors of all freaking time??
Been dripping other flavor samples I mixed onto the waffle wick...including FA Caramel and Fuji...out of this world...

I can't get over this freaking waffle. OMG it's delicious. Not sure I've ever had a flavor so "spot on" as this.

Picked up some Inawera Creme Brûlée...pretty good when I tested solo. Would be a nice touch to some tobaccos or custards, maybe subbing for Catalina Cream in some recipes.

I get a slight "bready" taste, but that's it.
It will make a nice base for adding another flavor too, so I will use it.

Yeah, in fact, I'll back the waffle down a bit next time...after hitting it all day it's almost too flavorful for me at 1.75% in this mix. I noticed you have a tough time with chocolates too, you don't taste much from chocolate vapes? I'm kinda with you there - well, I taste them some, but haven't found one I like yet.

I'd love to find the cocoa flavor used in Nicoticket's "Cure" - that was a fantastic chocolate hint IMO, and didn't scorch at high heat.

I do like the VZ Chocolate Truffle SCG, ... it's mild, but it's CHOCOLATE.
It also took a lot of bottles to find a good Blueberry.
I also can't taste Coconut, and I've tried about 9 different ones.
It's a "fragile" flavor to start with .. but pina colada just isn't the same without coconut in there.
There is one other chocolate I really like, but it's a Mocha, ... so not so good for use in a recipe.
But that's OK, it's yummy solo.
The VZ Chocolate Truffle is extremely good. I love it fresh but it tends to develop some sort of taste that really bothers me after a couple of days. Makes me so sad. I do vape it fresh sometimes though. Mocha sounds goodTrue, it's a tough flavor.
