I have decided to try my hand rebuilding Wicks for the ViviNova. I've got 32 and 36 ga Kanthal on it's way. Sent my wife out shopping to JoAnne's to pick up Cotton and Bamboo yarn and I had already picked up some Silica Wick. I'm looking forward to trying out all the combinations and especially the Bamboo wicks. I keep reading great things about it. I am a little nervous about coiling the wicks properly but I suppose it just takes a little practice. Wish me luck

Get a 2mm bolt for wrapping the wire

Good luck - I recoiled a CE5 and took a little trial n error to get the right ohms - first one was over 4 ohms.....and then i put too many cotton threads - didnt want dry hits - well the opposite happened - was getting dry hits because of too many wicks lol. The bolt wasnt working for me - used a nail instead. It is fun. I am wanting the coil of bust so I can make another one - lol...
