So far ive gotten 3 battiers/cartomizers from 2 different companies. I can take my auto V4L 808 and attach a cartomizer to it and get one draw that is kinda hard to pull air through, then the next auto is very easy. Switch to manual and the same thing with either vendor. Why is this?? Ive examined the hardware, and all seems so close that I can not make out a difference in them. Any ideas? Carto differences? battery differences?
I can swap cartos and mix match from one to the other, and its the same thing, I can say that my auots pull a lot harder than mt manuals do, and my XL batteries draw a lot easier than my regualr batteries.

There is variation in the vaporizing power between cartos.

There are different resistances of cartos. Like at Vapor4Life they have WOW cart blanks (which I think around around 2.8 ohms) and Coolcart blanks (which I think are around 3.2 ohm) to the WOW carts burn hotter and may vaporize faster, and the Coolcarts burn cooler so cooler on the lips and may vaporize a bit more slowly. FYI I think their prefilled WOW carts just have WOW juice in them - I think they can be in either Coolcart or WOW Cart (like I think WOW 555 seemed to be in a Coolcart). And there are other cartos around for KR8.

In addition, even with the same type and ohms of carto, you can get a dud occasionally that is weaker - just a side effect of the weird bundle of wires and wicks and stuffing and juice.

You can rescue the juice though - cool video on getting the juice out of one carto and into another
YouTube - Reverse Taryn Spin

And for a totally non-working V4L one (if you ever get one of those) try this

Ahhh you were asking about different batteries with same carto -

Are the batteries all fully charged? Batteries seem strongest near the beginning of their charge.
And check the air inlets - does one combination provide better airflow into the connection between the battery and the carto?

And do you have an atty and cart (like 901 standard atty which can screw right on)? if so, then you could check if it's just the battery causing the problem.

You can adjust the airflow on the 510-901/808 adaptors, but you can't adjust it on the 808 batteries (at least the ones that i have). There isn't a slot/scre on the battery connection. There is one on the adaptors. The airflow on the batteries is determined by the airholes and is fixed unless you increase the size of the airholes, or plug airholes. You can gently adjust/pull out slightly the center contact on the cartos if they're not touching the battery contact.

Manual XL batteries at least from Vapor4Life come off the charger at 4.2 volts as opposed to standards at 3.7-3.8. I measured 8 of my batteries. My V4L XLs draw better than my V2 standards both auto, manual and shorties. They are almost as good as the passthrus at 5 volts.

Connections, thickness of juices, age and type of cartomizer, clean batteries all matter too.
