Hey guys, new blucigs user. I have had them for about two weeks, and REALLY like it when they work consistently, as they did the first week. Recently, though, only the first draw hits with any consistency, and I can't get anything afterwards until I wait to cool it down. I've removed all foils, charged batteries, and covered holes, and it's just not consistent. Is there something I can do, or should I return them?

Yes I had the same problem. If I were you I'd try first the lipton pryamid tea bag mod. I've never done this but theres video on youtube showing how, and people claim to have good results. Or you cn do what I did. I went to litecigusa.net nd bought m801 attys and m801 carts. The attys fit the blu perfectly and the carts fit the atty(obivously :) ). Before I figured out this I too was not really happy with the blu. But now I love those little things. Btw I'm not connected with litecigusa.net in any way. Its just that the m801 is exclusive with them.

Sounds like your cartridges aren't wicking quickly enough to keep up with your usage, which is very common with the blu pre-filled carts; you're probably not waiting for the atomizer to cool down, you're waiting for more liquid to wick from the cartridge to the atomizer so that there's something to vaporize. I strongly recommend first getting hold of some better liquid (among liquids that are quick to obtain, I'm having the best results with ECOpure) and then restuffing your cartridges with a better-wicking filling material. The PET from Lipton Pyramid tea bags works best for me, but before I tried that I was actually having better-than-baseline performance even just using regular polyester batting.

In the meantime, when your vapor starts to trail off, try holding the blu tilted LED-side-down, especially while drawing—this can make a noticeable difference. You can also shake the blu thermometer-style to encourage liquid to flow from the cartridge toward the atomizer. The blu is a surprisingly good performer for such a tiny e-cig, but only if you can feed the atomizer liquid quickly enough for it to keep up with you. :)

Feel free to PM me if you have specific questions.

I bought the blu but just returned it...
I got to say that I did enjoy it for a while, but it just wasn't cutting for me.
I got the 510 and stayed with it; however i did manage to improve the Blu to a good e-cig.
The thing that made the whole difference was dripping, and using a usb pass-through.
been using the Wicked e-liquid so far, and that stuff is great.=)

I took a cart apart and seems there in so way to put more than 4 drops in the little bugger (only apears to hold 4, have not had time to do test) and when I put 2 drops right on the atty, I get say 7 great puffs then yes the batt gets low and needs to sit and the atty gets hot and needs to sit.

I can tell since I have had it you need to "feel" it out ans use it to your needs...ie. I needed an analog about every 45 mins....well my analogs were Swisure Sweet Little Cigars and Looks like a pack of 100's but the cig is all brown) so as for now..I need to vape the blu every 15-20 mins to keep up.

I have notice blu is working better with age or "break-in"

For me the Blu carts are hit and miss. Some of them will hit really hard for about 2 - 5 drags, and then I barely get anything even if letting it sit LED side down for awhile. Other times I put in a cart and it will vape great for several hours and very consistent. I'm pretty new to ecigs, but I have a DSE801, DSE601, Blu/Volcano cigs. I'm still waiting for my orders of liquid to come in so I can try some cart mods.
