Just like the title says, rocking some new banana taffy juice and one hit will be smooth as butter, and the next will burn the crap out of my throat, and I just recently quit smoking marlboro 27s.

It's not a dry hit, the vapor is the same everytime. Doesn't matter if my clearomizer is cold, hot, it's not the first or last hit, etc etc.

What's the deal here?

Clearos are notorious for dry hits and wicking problems. You have to fiddle with them like, make sure the wicks aren't being squeezed by the rubber cap, tilting it at a certain angle (different angle with every clearo even if they're the same kind), etc.

The only clearo I've tried so far that hasn't had major fiddle factor involved are the Kanger T3.

Good luck finding what's ailing your clearo. Vape on! :vapor:

The presence of vapor is no indication that you are not getting a "dry hit". residual juice on the wick can be enough to give the appearance of vapor without actually giving you any vapor. also - a dirty head can clog with juice so that new juice cannot reach the wire to vaporize. In this case the "vapor" is probably a combo of burning (smoke) crust and small amounts of fresh juice (vapor). That will taste like poop to be sure!

Keep your wicks wet by tipping every few hits. contrary to the what the last poster said - it does not require a certain angle or technique. simply holding the battery horizontal and rolling the juice around the clearo to wet the wicks is sufficient. with some clearos though you might be doing this every few minutes.

Some juice flavors gum up wires and wicks really fast. So "brand new" is no indication of clearo health. I have a rum puddng vape that clogs a vivi nova head in less than a day or about 1 ml of use. That one is best use in a cartomizer.
