I would like to increase the air flow on Ithaka. I would like to have more air flow on the Ithaka itself just trying to increase vapor. I realize that the air flow control on my ggts is a certain size and the air inlets on the Ithaka are a certain size how would one go about increasing the size on the Ithaka itself. Any ideas would be great Thanks Adam:blink:

There was another guy asking the same question one time. I forgot in which thread. The thing is Ithaka airflow is limited by the diameter of the central pin. You will not be able to increase airflow unless you ruin the pin. And even then I don't think it would still assemble correctly. Imeo is enlarging the hole in the new Penelope.

Maybe Imeo will one day make a new rebuildable part for Ithaka that has a much bigger hole - I thought he said he would do that? Maybe I dreamt it up!
I am not a mouth-vaper I am a lung-vaper, so I would benefit from a larger hole as well, but I don't really mind The air flow on Ithaka now. Probably because I have nothing to compare it to! I've never had MORE airflow than this, but I do keep my air control ring open all the way at all times. I think I would enjoy more airflow very much.

Good info So what you are saying is a larger hole should be made for the post and ceramic and will have more air flow that we should in theory be able to control with the air control on the collector tank. Maybe some new parts are in order or maybe the pene parts will fit in the Ithaka with a different oring size on the bottom of the centre post.

Thanks Capt good idea but i already do that i still need more air flow maybe its just me but would sacrifice a little juice capacity for more air flow.

You said you want more air flow to increes vapor production,
If i understand you correctly,it's not the problem with the tight draw as much as you feel there
Is not enough vapor.
If this is the case,I did somthing that was
Offered in some other threed here by other (i think it was on the Ithaka threed, you can look back in the last week or so)
GG fellows and it work just fine for me.thank to them if they see this.
I don't know if it will work for you,or maybe you allready do this but better to try.
The thing is to close juice control totaly and vape until it get dry, real dry.
Somtimes the coil may not work well when to saturate.
After that I open juice control only a thin slit, like cartomizer hole + - and from
There it's just bliss.
Lots of vapor like frsh new coil,
I dont open totaly air flow as I notice that the tighter
Draw ( a bit tighter ) help juice flow via the thin slit that I open even better,
And this way it produce alot more vapor.
I don't no if it will be of any help for you but preffer to say this befor you make
Your way to the machine tool.

One thing we are going to be limited on is the 510 connection. There is only so much space in there. Not to say you couldn't increase the internal diameter of the center pin but I doubt you could make it much bigger. Now on a GG only Ithaka you could theoretically nake the center pin's hole much bigger with no issues.

Itshak Thank you for the suggestion I am trying that right now hope it helps will let you know if it does. fright88 yes on the native Ithaka connection I would love the centre pin increased in size and think this would help a lot this vaping is very personalized and I know u can't make everyone happy but its worth a try. Wish I had a SS 3d printer the things id try Thanks everyone. QUOTE=fright88;10882648]One thing we are going to be limited on is the 510 connection. There is only so much space in there. Tried the no brass extention helps a little with the air flow but i must say that i want more air flow if the centre post was a larger diameter the hole in the ceramic would have to be larger the nut would have to be larger and the the metal sleeve would have a larger hole the delrin washer and nut would need a larger hole and a bigger o-ring great thats what i want for x-mas lol thanks for all the suggestions and help.

This helps a little

The FullAdCap gives a better airflow then the StealthCap

but more airflow would be nice to vape directly on lung
