I honestly can't say now that if forced to give up e-smoking or snus, I'll choose one over the other. E-smoking realistically replaces the act of smoking a cigarette -- and that's a big deal to me. NRT has never worked for me, and I've always fallen back to some kind of "fake" cigarette I could carry in my hands all the time. Snus absolutely provides the nicotine to end any cravings. I am certain that I do not get my primary nicotine fix from e-smoking. That is primarily from Stonewall tobacco bits, then snus, then a pipe, then e-smoking. But I will not give up e-smoking .. because I now enjoy the flavors I've created, the look of vapor in and out, and the "something" in my hands.

BTW: Dripping NEVER worked, even once, with my E-Pipe. And I knew what was doing! It was a total failure. Seemed to drown the atomizer! Never could get more than a wisp from the thing. And, of course, without something to compare it with, how did I know this wasn't just the way it was supposed to be?

Fortunately, there's no need to choose among snus, e-smoking, etc. I can, and do, use them as I feel the need. I love the variety and don't understand why anyone would limit themselves to one stop-smoking option. I'm a bit like BananaDoc in that I don't think I need e-smoking for nicotine, but I do need it to replace the smoking experience. Jamie understands this, too. Hope that makes sense.

i tried a pipe after the meltrex type i was after more and easier smoke than the meltrex type.. i knew "wisps" were not "it" else e smoking would have failed me right at the very start..

I am NOT going to get back into this with you, but I have to object to that remark. If the e-cig you had gave you "wisps" then it IS NOT "the meltrix type." It may have been a DSE-901, the same model, but once again, they are not all the same. Many other board members can attest that Meltrix's e-cigs are very easy to smoke and give you lots of vapor. I think you should apologise.

leaford i did not say i got "wisps" from the meltrex type.. please read what i say a little more carefully.. i said i got plenty of smoke which told me "wisps" were not "it".. i then following a simple principle.. "bigger is better" tried larger devices..

selective quotes taken out of context can mislead..

it wasnt because of lack of smoke from my early generic dse901 type.. i thought bigger with off the shelf batteries might last longer and be cheaper to run long term..

all three of us like the way the six e pipes work.. as i have said repeatedly.. they smoke nicely and produce lots of smoke very reliable and very consistently when dripped.. the battery life seems good too.. the atomizer life is yet to be seen..

the functionality is very good from all six atomizers.. we have had one die after about one weeks heavy use.. we have only had them two weeks.. the one that died worked perfectly then simply didnt work one morning after being left over night..

i would like them to last about a month on average but even if they only last two weeks i think we will still find them cost effective e smoking devices..

they are capable of providing enough nicotine for our needs.. which is fairy high.. my practice will be to order four atomizers in advance every couple of months in a similar way to how i order e liquid..

the one that died after a week might be the odd bad one or it might not.. it will take some time to find out the average fully functional life span.. we have only had them on test for two weeks..

ps.. and leaford please get of this vendetta thing.. :D

ps..2 we had been useing the meltrex type in every day use for six weeks.. we will continue using them as back up spares or when the pipe isnt discrete enough.. i would recommend them..

So can poor choices of words and lack of punctuation. I am sorry if I misunderstood you, but if that's what you meant, it's not what you wrote. And why call it a Meltrix style, anyway? If it's a Pillbox, call it a Pillbox. The way you phrased it, and used meltrix name when it had nothing to do with meltrix, well, it just sounded like a slam.

I really don't mean it as a vendetta, Trog. I was just reacting to what you wrote. But I am sorry if I misunderstood you.
