Indigo Vapor's Eureka
Nicotine: 24 mg
PG/VG: Proprietary
Age when tried: 6 weeks (and various times before that)
Color: Tea with lemon in a class cup.
devices: Evod on a Vamo V5 @ 6, 8 and 10 watts.
Description from vendor's site: "Indigo's most recent foray into the world of RY tobacco blends. This is a rich and smooth blend that borders on savory."
As The Big RY4 Thread (TM) has it, there are two main types of RY4 -- classic (Chinese-style, light, dry, synthetic tobacco) and custom (American-style, heavy, sweet, lots of caramel and vanilla, and often NET-based). Indigo's Eureka doesn't fall into either category to my palate. It's rich and heavy, with a slightly oily mouthfeel, placing it far from the classic RY4s, but it's only barely sweet and has no detectable vanilla note.
The predominant taste of Indigo Eureka is caramel popcorn. This is not the burnt popcorn taste that certain juices (many coffee flavors, for example) and certain vendors tend to have, mind you -- it tastes like actual, real and flavorful caramel popcorn with a fairly strong buttery note and a hint of tobacco.
It's really pretty good. I can vape it for an hour or two at a time, but then I consistently find I want to switch to something else. I think that might have to do with the oiliness of this juice, which leaves my tongue feeling coated after too long. I'm giving it a 3/5 for flavor -- good, but not great or exceptional.
It's somewhat outside the RY4 zone to my mind, so it only gets 3/5 for authenticity.
Flavor: 3/5
Authenticity: 3/5
TH: 4/5
Buy again? No. Not because it's bad, but because there are so many better alternatives.
EDIT: Mixing it with a few drops of Good Ejuice's French Vanilla does great things to it!
