Indigo Vapor's Indigo Classic
Nicotine: 24 mg
PG/VG: Proprietary
Age when tried: 1 month (and various times before that)
Color: Medium honey.
devices: Evod on a Vamo V5 @ 6, 8 and 10 watts.
Ad copy from site: "Our famous Indigo RY rebalanced and paired down to the essential classic RY components. tobacco, Caramel, and Vanilla. If you love our Indigo Ry then the Classic is a must try!".
Well, the blurb above isn't very auspicious, since Indigo RY was one of the nastiest and most toxic tasting things I've vaped -- ever -- due to its intense and in-your-face bread mold note. Fortunately, Indigo Classic only has the slightest hint of that particular substance. That must be what they "rebalanced" and "paired down".
The predominant flavor in Indigo Classic is the base. It's not like any other tobacco base I've vaped. It has a heavy, oily mouthfeel to it, and is moderately sweet (but nowhere near desert levels), with a smell I can't identify. It's pretty neutral, all in all. Other than that, I suppose there might be a small bit of caramel flavor in Indigo Classic, but if the site didn't declare this is an RY4, I wouldn't have guessed it. So it scores low points for authenticity. This might be an okay vape for someone looking for a slightly sweet liquid with just enough flavor to not be unflavored. It does have a nice body to it. The TH is pretty standard, but nothing to write home about.
All in all, it reminds me of a weakly-scented massage oil. I can't recommend it.
Flavor: 2/5
Authenticity: 2/5
TH: 3/5
