Induction Heatting

I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with induction coil heating?

My idea was to use an oscillator circuit to drive a coil in the carto which would have a metal wire imbedded inside the wick. This wold heat the juice from the inside of the wick instead of the outside of the wick.

I don't know what the efficiency of induction heating is but was thinking we could achive more consistent and controllable vaporization.

Here is a quick sketch of what I'm thinking.

I'm also thinking the metal mesh wick would work good in this...

Just my 2 cents;

Wicking is a balancing act, not enough juice and the coil overheats, too much juice and the juice boils instead of vaporizing.
I would think having the heating element inside the wick would be too much juice.

I kinda was thinking that... Thats why I was thinking the metal mesh wick might work better, You directly heat the wick itself. Just gotta figure out if induction heating would even be feasible.

I wonder if heating hypodermic tubing would be the ticket? The heat, along with the slight suction of inhaling the vapor should draw the liquid up the tube to be turned into more vapor.

I've been thinking about a tiny induction heating device ever since I got my first ecig. My problem is lack of electronics knowledge. Could a 3.7v cell sufficeintly power it? I would think yes, since we really don't need to get it all that hot.

that is the big question... I really have no experience with induction other than building motors and transformers. It would come down to how efficient induction actually is. I know it is quick but what is the energy level trade off? At best we would probably need to use two batteries. But again it comes down to someone who has experience with small scale induction heating to let us know.
