I think I've posted about this in wrecked and bonkers but not all women are wrecked and bonkers (no matter what my hubby says, lol)

I absolutely love a salt bath. I buy dead sea salt from a supplier on Ebay

eBay Seller: bathandcrafts: Health Beauty items on eBay.com

I've been buying from the same man for about 4 years now. I get a 20lb bag of salt and it usually lasts me about six months, even with the hubby using it now and then. I have really sensitive skin and cold weather makes it worse. On top of that, I have severe chronic pain from an accident I had over five years ago. The salt baths take care of both things. Right now I have just a regular sized tub. I Use one of those red Solo disposable cups to measure with. I put one cup in the tub while running the water as hot as I can stand it. I get in and just lay back and relax. I usually drain some of the water out a couple of times and add more hot water as needed. When you're done, make sure to rinse off really good or else the salt will dry and make you itch.

I will sometimes add some kind of perfume oil to it. Like tonite, I used a mango oil with the salt. I had my ecig cartomizer loaded with mango flavored liquid and used mango soap. It was a tropical kind of night, lol When I got done I used some mnago body butter from The Body Shop to finish up. Helps the body and soothes the soul. You can do all of this pretty cheap so you won't have to cut back on your vaping shopping, lol

Hope you all have a great night!

Jules, what do you mean by you have sensitive skin? Easily get rashes? Dry skin? Lots of allergies? I only ask because if you say this helps you, I might have to try some! I have dermatographia which is like the epitamy of sensitive skin. If ANYTHING touches me I break out in hives (doesn't matter if it's an edge of clothing, a person's hands, or just water).

omg MaryKay  I have to remember NOT to be taking a sip of anything when I read your posts!! ROFL "Go soak your head" was a phrase that my parents said to each other... a lot!! It's the English translation of a Sicilian insult that is much worse in Sicilian LOL

Dead Sea Salt baths are supposed to be amazing, and very good for you!
I have yet to have a good hot soak with my e-cig. What a great idea. Thanks for the link (wow that is a great price for 20lbs)- and the suggestion, Jules! :)

katattack...you know those pools that you air up the ring around the top of it then just fill with water? They have hot tub versions...you could invest in one of those! Or heck, just go all out and get a hot tub! :)

lol I think I might just pick up the inflatable. I have nowhere to put a permanent one in our 950sq ft house (that 5 people live in).

Yes to all the above. I'm allergic to just about every lotion and soap there is. Have to watch what kind of laundry detergent and dish soap we buy. Skin would be dray as a bone if I didn't moisturize all the time. ANd I have terrible rashes in the winter. Seriously, the sea salt seriously has helped with all the above. Make sure you rinse off though. If you don't rinse good you will itch worse than ever.

I love a good soak. My husband suggests it all the time..only he just means my head! I love lavender..don't think I want to vape it though. I bought some bath beads with scent..do you think it would be ok with salt?

You are so funny! When my ex and I lived in Pensacola he told me that there wasn't anything that the ocen salt water couldn't make better, skin wise. I had the best skin when I lived there. I stayed in the ocean as much as I could.

And yes, bath beads work great in there too.
