Is anyone having problems with the switch on their Indulgence? The metal switch was one of the reasons I chose an Indulgence for my first mod as it was supposed to be good for a million clicks. I have had mine for three months and don't use it all the time, now it has stopped working. First it wouldn't turn on and finally it started working for a little bit, now it is stuck on so I can't use it at all. I bought it from a stateside vendor and he has promised to replace it but I don't think they make silver ones any longer which is a bummer if I have to have a titanium switch with a silver body. Does anyone know where I can buy the silver switch?

I believe the EM Rep Di posted a long time ago all of her spare parts and sold them and only the Titanium is now available. I have a Gold and its like new and I don't even want to use it just because I know I cant get another switch for it in Gold, kinda s(*&^s but its life, I often wondered if there was someone on the ECF that could take these top caps apart and rebuild the switches, there are plenty of modders on ECF, I'm sure one of them has to be able to fix these, maybe we should start a thread ( looking for modder to repair Indulgence top cap switches ) that may draw some extra attention..!!! Lube may un-jamb them if there stuck but sooner or later the switches will go bad

I have the original silver Indulgence and had to replace the switch with a v2 titanium switch unit but it looks nice two-tone. Kinda cool actually. :)
yes, unfortunately, there are no more silver or gold Indulgence available,
the only one made now is the Version 2 -- in the one color - Platinum only.

The platinum color is very similar to the silver color.

If the plate on your switch that connects to the battery has 2 indents in it like my silver one has, then you can unscrew it. Inside there is a 12 x 12 mm tact switch sitting on a sort of half round piece of plastic. It took a bit of effort to get out as it was glued in but once out I could easily replace the switch with one I got from a local electronic shop.

I always had to apply quite a bit of pressure to the switch to get it to work. I am not electronically inclined at all and wouldn't know the first thing about how to replace it. I have never been very satisfied with the indulgence, now I only use it as a back-up. It seems to work better if I add the extension cup and use the larger batery.

I like my Indulgence and hope the new switch lasts longer. I bought mine from ecig supply and Kevin has a 6 month guarantee on them. He is replacing the switch and is also sending me a Titanium body to go with it. I thought it was pretty cool of Kevin to go a little beyond his responsibility. You never know how good the vendors are until you have a problem so I'm giving Kevin and ecig supply a thumbs up.

So you do you know of the v2 has the same set up in the switch? I've had mine a week, the button definitely is a week link in this product, mine has stuck several times burning myself and my property. Seems like I will need to do some kinda fix as I do not feel it is safe to use the way it works now.

If you look at the plate where the battery touches the switch are there indents in it and do the threads for the battery cup go all the way to it? See if you can unscrew it aniti-clockwise.

Yes it unscrews, it has the indentation for a spanner wrench I suspect a paper clip will work. I was wondering about the innerworkings it seems the switch on mine dose not click, I suspect streaching the spring to accommodate 18650 batteries puts too munch pressure on the switch when you use two 16340 batteries and causes something it the switch to fail, or I just got a defective switch. Either way I just don't want to destroy this thing trying to make it safe to use thanks for the info!

I found what was making my switch stick was not having that disk on the bottom of the switch section tightened down enough and when the switch is pressed it can move the guts into a wonky angle, causing it to stick. I've since moved on to another 6v setup as I had issues with the indulgence adding resistance from the battery to the atty/carto. Using my voltmeter I found the biggest culprit was the spring in the top of the switch enclosure adding half an ohm of resistance to the unit. Eventually I'll find a copper spring to replace it and the indulgence will re-enter my PV rotation. Great affordable first mod that still needs a little tweaking to shine.

After thinking about it I decided to dismantle it again tonight cause I had nothing else to do anyways while kicking back and vaping while battery shopping. :)

Went through all the components again to make sure I wasn't crazy before and sure enough that spring is the only culprit. Wasn't as noticeable @ 6v having that slight resistance but killed it at 3.7v. Noticing the diameter of the spring I had an epiphany and grabbed a pen that was dying and pulled the spring from it. Trimmed the length of the spring to match the Indulgence's spring then threaded it through the center. Installed it and reassembled the unit then threw it back on the voltmeter. Bingo! .2 ohm. Respectable for a mod with so many connections. Then I sat and thought what to use it for. Had another epiphany and dropped in two 18350 cells for a 7.4v cannon. Jeebus I need some high resist cartos now. On the voltmeter it's hitting 8.4 volts  I could literally hear the juice boiling on a 3 ohm carto! Guess my sig is starting to fit me.

Now I'm set with a handful of 3.7 setups, a 5v mod, a 6v mod, and now a permanent 7.4v setup without having to change out sleeves. Excellent...
