Is the iclear 30 really that bad? What would you recommend? The nautilus? kayfun? I'd love to hear what your favorite is?

I've never tried the nautilus (probably should though, given the comments here!).
I have never been fond of the TCC clearos, and the IClear30 is probably my least favorite of those I've tried. It just doesn't wick well IMHO.
I started out with the EVOD heads; my wife+daughter still prefer these.
I have found some BCC clearos I really like, here's some FT links (NOTE: I tend to change flavors often, so I like smaller tanks):

Also, I have found that I prefer all-plastic designs to some of the metal ones. I wasn't crazy about the mini-protanks, because it seemed to me that the metal up-tube and tip just cooled down the vapor too much, but many people really like them. The plastic-uptube heads seem to provide a much warmer vape, which makes it more flavorful and pleasant to me. (Also, metal drip-tips feel "slimy" to me, and kind of unpleasant)

The classic EVOD's. Good, simple, but I like the ones below better.

I really like these H2's. Clean taste, very inexpensive!

Another couple of tanks that work well for me.

I really like these heads. The liquid is in a sealed tank above the coil, you press the top down to pump a little e-liquid onto the coil/wick.
Puts you in control of the "juciness", so it never gurgles or leaks (unless you over-pump it). Haven't found replacement coils for these yet;
they will take the standard evod heads though, even though that's not as good as the originals. Wish the drip-tip was replaceable; i'd like these even better with a plastic tip.

All the above have replaceable heads, but they are also rebuildable (so save them; you'll probably at least give rebuilding a try some day!)

The above is just my opinion, of course, but I think any of these are very good everyday-use heads that don't require much fussing.

Have fun!

How often did you have to replace your MVP 2 due to that batt going bad, if you don't mind me asking?

First one lasted about 4 months , second about a year. Both had internal cell failures not inokin's fault. Third just stoped charging two months ago after a good year of heavy use and a couple bad drops. Still works just can't charge it. It's a great mod and I still recommend it for budget minded vapers.

11 watts really? too low get the cloupor dna 30 clone... i have one and its 60 bucks and 30 watts, plus its a tuff mod it can stand some abuse.

Honestly I'd stay away from the cloupor. Too many on here and people I know irl are having issues. A local shop has had to send 40% of their shipment back for being DOA or failing within a month of a customer purchase. That's what pushed me to try the e-mech and so far it's really good.

I have a Cloupor 30w and I LOVE it. I've had it about 2 months and haven't had the first issue. I was talking to the owner of my local B&M the other day and he said he can't keep them on the shelf. He hasn't had one get returned so he just ordered 400 of them.
Could have been first run qc issues. I might try one when they get a new shipment in

I think this is a bad time to buy, the new sx xhips are superior to anything out there just about and by xmas there will be a lot more options. That says the VTR is the best you can get right now for the price. It has ture down regulation and protects the clearomizer. Even has the most power to hook up the attachments and do light dripping.

But the thing that gets lost in all the specs is that it has a very high pwm frequency, close to the provari. Every wonder why everyone raves about the provari, its the near dc quality regulation and the VTR is just behind it. I found a new VTR with warranty for $60 on ebay. The only down side is they are heavy, but that's the price you pay for rugged dependability,
